Hello everyone!
So it's been a long time since I was on this site. I've been getting back into it, reading some new categories and discovering great new writers. I've spent a lot of my time writing for another site and getting schoolwork done, but now I'm home and searching for either a job or a PhD program. Trying to open as many doors as I possibly can. But I'm also trying to get my creative juices flowing again, so here I am, continuing my "Diary of a Missing Girl" story and writing some new things. I've got some new songfics planned (I still wish there was a General Music category on here for songfics - that would be wonderful!) that will mostly be to Celtic Woman and Celtic Thunder songs. I can't wait to see what you all think of them! Every time I use one, a link will be posted here, so keep an eye out!

How many times must a man look up before he can see the sky?
How many ears must one many have before he can hear people cry?
How many deaths will it take 'til he knows that too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowing in the wind.
The answer is blowing in the wind.
--"Blowing in the wind" by Peter, Paul and Mary
Let me tell you that I love you,
That I think about you all the time
Caledonia, you're calling me,
Now I'm going home.
But if I should become a stranger,
Know that it would make me more than sad.
Caledonia's been everything I've ever had.
--"Caledonia" by Celtic Woman
I am the dawn and the new day begun.
I bring you the morning, I bring you the sun.
I hold back the night and I open the skies.
I give light to the world, I give sight to your eyes.
From the first of all time, 'til time is undone,
Forever and ever and ever and ever,
And I am the dawn and the sky and the sun,
I am one with the One and I am the dawn.
--"The Sky and the Dawn and the Sun" by Celtic Woman
I pray you'll be our eyes,
And watch us where we go,
And help us to be wise,
In times when we don't know.
Let this be our prayer,
As we go our way.
Lead us to a place,
Guide us with your grace,
To a place where we'll be safe.

Isle of hope, isle of tears,
Isle of freedom, isle of fears,

That isle of hunger, isle of pain
Isle you'll never see again,
But the isle of home is always on your mind.

Like a bird without wings
That longs to be flying,
Like a motherless child
Left lonely and crying,
Like a song without words,
Like a world without music,
I wouldn't know what to do
I'd be lost without you
Watching over me.

But since it fell into my lot,
That I should rise and you should not,
I'll gently rise and softly call,
Goodnight and joy be to you all.
So fell to me the parting glass,
And drink a health whate'er befalls.
And gently rise and softly call,
Goodnight and joy be to you all.
