Author has written 7 stories for Batman the Animated Series, Teen Titans, Labyrinth, Chrono Cross, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Rurouni Kenshin.
I far prefer reading fanfiction to writing it... And I write my own stories, the stories I make up myself hold precedence for me over any fanfiction I may be working on. So I can't promise updates... I am sorry.
Stats- I am a female geek, in Texas. (No, we don't all ride horses, or talk about cows.)
My feelings on dead people are as follows, if it's Tomoe or Kikyo, I will read fics that bash them, but I don't hate them. In Tomoe's case I view her as a necessary occurrence in order for Kenshin to find eventual happiness with Kaoru. I actually really liked/respected Kikyo until she was brought back to life. I don't like Terra from Teen Titans. Sorry. Raven's my favorite character, and I ship Raven/Beast Boy. So me no likie the blond freakazoid who betrayed everyone.
On other dead things... vampires. I don't know that anybody particularly cares, but in this world, there are such things as fears, and such things as phobias, and there is a difference between these things. I am afraid of spiders, but though I might joke about it, I know I'm not actually arachnophobic. True phobias are marked by disabling fear, and if I'm alone in the room with a spider, I am capable of killing it. This being said, I am afraid of spiders, and for some reason, vampires. The best I can come up with is that vampires are basically undead spiders. Spiders suck blood/fluid/whatever from their prey, so do vampires. Gross. I also have a perverse sort of curiosity and need to mentally poke at things, so I will look at things that frighten me just to see if they still affect me.
I do read and watch things with vampires in them... but I also have a "safety-scarf" I can wind around my neck when I do so and reserve the right to get the hell away if I start feeling too freaked out.

"Sir, are you sanguine about our reception on an Alliance ship?"
"Absolutely. What's sanguine mean?"
"Sanguine; hopeful. Point of interest, it also means bloody."
"Well that about covers all the bases doesn't it?"
