Author has written 2 stories for Naruto, and Harry Potter.
I'm interested in people who for the most part, are utterly oblivious but also somehow quiet, charismatic geniuses (in their own quirky sort of way). That's why Harry Potter and Uzumaki Naruto are so fascinating. There's this deep and abiding wisdom right below the surface of their personalities. Suffering from such a young age has made them a subtle kind of smart. Not many appreciate this, of course, since no one is rushing to call them 'smart' in the classical sense. After all the hardships they suffer they manage to come out the other side reasonably well adjusted with a better understanding of human nature than I will ever have, which makes them interesting to write for.
Both are also irredeemable trouble magnets and chaos makes for good comedy. I particularly enjoy the fact that they seem somehow separated from others around them; insane turns of events are taken in stride because really, it's just business as usual from their perspective. It's also incredibly entertaining to define Naruto and Harry by ruffling the feathers of the people around them. I'm looking forward to pulling various supporting characters into the whirlwind of chaos and personal epiphanies that typically surround them both. Along with that, the themes of redemption, forgiveness, sacrifice, and history repeating itself are probably going to play a huge role in my stories. I'm going to need to 'tweak' the original story lines a bit, so be warned.
I'm starting out with "Forgotten Little Things" and "A Spinner's Tale", I hope you like them.
