••*Formerly known as "Insanity and a Chicken"*••
Hey guys! I'm BAAAAAAAAACK! Didja miss me?! I certainly missed all ya'll...and this website!
So yes. I am the member, formerly known as Insanity and a Chicken. I am now The Red Daisy, as a homage to the Victorian Language of Flowers, or floriography. (Red Daisy's symbolize unknown beauty.) Or, if you don't want something so fraught with meaning, I chose that name just because it sounds badass.
So...what's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell just as sweet. I have gone by many names in the past (out of a lingering identity crisis.) Now, I just go by my given name, Kayla.
As far as interests go, I am very intrigued by the paranormal. I love all things related to history...so what better way to learn about the past from the remnants of people that lived through it? (I'm not talking about cadavers people. I'm referring to ghosts.) I also find the subject of reincarnation equally fascinating. I can recall 8 incarnations, starting around the time of Akhenaten's reign in Egypt and winding down to the present day.
I have been attempting to write some new things for the lovely people that take the time to read my various Phantom and Sweeney Todd related articles. However, that's easier said than done. My eyesight is rapidly starting to diminish...and in the two or three years I disappeared off this site, I developed carpal tunnel. Those two afflictions certainly don't mean I won't be trying. It just means it will take longer than usual. (I don't believe I ever mentioned that I wrote everything that's on this website while in a prolonged state of hypomania...did I?)
Sooo...I suppose that's it. Thanks for taking the time to read this. I hope you'll browse through my literary collection or drop me a line sometime. I love to talk.
