I've just visited this profile and realized that I have not updated it in fourteen years This is largely because I took a very long hiatus from writing and finally came back to it sort of randomly in the summer of 2021. I can't recall what led to me stopping so many years ago - likely my job - nor can I recall what led to me picking this back up a year ago. But I am cautiously optimistic that I will continue with it even after I finish Master and Commander: Epilogue (soon to be renamed Accession, as it is called elsewhere, so as not to cause confusion mid-stream).

In any event, what I wrote below so many years ago is largely still true. Aside from the fact that I am now in my 40s, not my 20s (sigh), not much else has changed. I still read and write only HP fics, typically HG/SS, but also sometimes HG/DM and HP/DM, with lots of lemons.

Sadly, my job is still demanding - I am a lawyer and despite the fact that it requires a lot of writing, my day job is still about as different from this hobby as it could possibly be. That's probably why I love it (the hobby, not the day job).

The Power Play trilogy, as well as anything else I publish going forward, can also be found on AO3 and will soon be published on Ashwinder as well - all under lis9. Hiya...I'm 27 years old, from Philadelphia... I began this account a few months back with the intention of posting a one-time story I wrote in my spare time one evening. It has since grown into something of an obsession that I don't anticipate letting up anytime soon. As you can see from the few stories I've written so far, I generally tend toward the dirty side, and I rather enjoy slash. I have written only HP fics, and that's pretty much all I read, as well.

I have a fairly demanding job, which keeps me from writing as much as I'd like, but I do try to update often. At the moment, I am trying desperately to finish the last chapter of Master and Commander, and it's just about killing me. It seems the last chapter is always the hardest. Thank you to all the wonderful people who have read and reviewed my stories so far...I appreciate the encouragement!
