Author has written 4 stories for Naruto.
Recently I've come back to Fanfiction.net after a fairly long absence, mostly just to read as it has helped to pass the time. But, when I came back, I found some truly incredible fanfiction that I was so impressed by it honestly reignited my desire to write, which is something I haven't really had any real longing for in a while. Those pieces of fanfiction were Team 8 and Harry Potter and the Nightmares of Futures Past. Both of these were written by S'TarKan, who is an absolutely incredible writer. If you haven't given them a read yet, I suggest you do. He puts a lot of care into his writing, and it really shows.
However, as much as I'd like to just spend the next several paragraphs extolling S'TarKan and his incredible gift, and believe me, I do, that man is an incredible writer, that's not the only reason I've decided to update this. The main reason is because it was old. The information was outdated and the writing style led me believe that, at the time I wrote it, I had the writing skills and grammatical understanding of a slightly above average monkey. Looking back at some of my old stories, I have no idea how some of you put up with me, but I'm glad you did.
Another reason I'm updating is to let people know that I've recently begun construction on another piece. I've recently been unable to fall asleep until the early hours of the morning and have decided to do something at least semi-constructive with my time. I have no idea about the timeframe of its release, as I'd really like to do this one right. That means a full plot outline, as well as lengthy chapters-I'm shooting for anywhere from 8,000-10,000 words each-, multiple revisions before each chapter is published, well-rounded characters and character development, proper pacing, and some hopefully interesting ideas within a category that has so many stories that I'm not sure where we put them all. I imagine it'll be up around the end of the week, at which point I'll update this again with more detailed information.
I'm going to keep my old works up as a reminder of things I shouldn't be doing in my writing. As much as I'll be trying to revise and make everything perfect for everyone with this new story -it is my only project at the moment-, I don't doubt that I'll make at least a few slips, so please let me know if I do.
