What can I say? This is my passion.
Though as much as I love it, life seems to love keeping me away. I'm currently a full-time employee at a university and a student in Mortuary Science school. I plan to be a certified embalmer and funeral director by 2015. But after all, we're not here to talk about our lives - we're here to write, and disappear into the fantastical worlds of our imaginations.
REVIEWS: I generally reply to all reviews that I receive. I DO accept anonymous reviews, but if they're anonymous, I cannot respond to them, and I get slightly frustrated that I cannot thank the reader for their generous review! Like most of you, I get annoyed when people favorite my story and then don't take the time to review it. I would kind of like to know what you liked about it so that I can use it for future reference. I won't hate you if you do it, but just know that I will send the Volturi after you.
Stories I have written and statuses:
A MOMENT FROM ARO'S CHILDHOOD: Writing these one-shots makes me SO SAD, but I love delving into Aro's childhood. I update as ideas come to me.
A NIGHT TO REMEMBER: For my dearest friend, Petals Open to the Moon; Happy Birthday!
A WATCHFUL PROTECTOR: I told myself that I was going to leave the realm of Twilight, and concentrate on my Alice in Wonderland fic, but this idea hit me like a brick wall. I love writing this story, but I seem to enjoy writing it for a different reason than my readers like reading it! Funny how that works, eh? This is probably the story I'm the most proud of.
AN ANGEL RETURNED: Okay, I'm taking a huge gamble with this piece. I'm a good way into it, and I like it so far. Warning: lots of feels.
ANDREA'S STORY: A small bit about Gianna's replacement as the Volturi secretary. Does she meet the same fate? Oneshot.
AREN'T WE ALL CHILDREN OF GOD?: Once again! Spontaneous! Written the day after the one with Caius. I was rather uplifted, I guess, and wanted to write something about my sweet Marcus. I think he's a very underrated character, and deserves a bit more of his story told. That old man just...gets to me...
ARO VS. DRACULA: *giggles* This one was written for a contest too, and makes me giggle at the irony. Oneshot.
CHARLOTTE'S TALE: Yeah, I'll be re-writing this one. I wrote it in the ninth grade, and it was my first published work. *sucks teeth* Not the best...I'll be keeping the plot-line (changing a few holes, maybe), but elaborating and making it worth your time to read. *flinches at my ninth grade self*
CHILDHOOD TALES: Written by request; I received a review from L.Rm.S, who wished to hear more about Seraphina and Johanna's childhoods. I got a lot of funny little pictures in my head, and thought, "Why not?" I love those two little girls.
COVEN SISTERS: Once again, spontaneous oneshot. I have several different visuals of the wives, and this is variation on how I see them. Inspired by "In the Middle of the Night" by Within Temptation.
DESPERATE MEASURES: A comical idea I came up with whilst driving. The Volturi Masters enlist as domestic help in an upper class family in order to spy on them for their potential gifts. It was originally going to be written as a huge one-shot, but I got impatient and posted a chapter. More chapters on the way!
FOR LOVE: I must be a spontaneous person, because I seem to love sudden writing bursts. I actually had a nightmare about my beloved Aro's death, woke up teary-eyed, but the more I thought about it, the more of a noble death I thought it seemed. Let me know what you think; this is my first time writing about my love's death. *sniffles*
FORBIDDEN PLEASURES: Yeah, I was in that kind of mood...don't worry about it. :P I don't usually think about such things, but I was craving for something different. I'm considering doing a slash pairing, which is something I NEVER thought I would consider. Hmm; open-mindedness!
INITIATED: Another daydream of a bored high-school student, and with a little convincing, it has turned into a full fic! I will be publishing the work under the same title, and this one shot will be take off of the site MOMENTARILY. I am planning to re-publish the one-shot, and other ideas that did not make it into the fic, when I finish this story. They will be kind of like outtakes. They will be on soon!! Thank you ToryTigress92!
LI GALLI: Written as another birthday piece for my dearest Petals.
MASQUERADE MYSTIQUE: Birthday present for CeraHale on DA.
ONLY FOR SO LONG: Spontaneous one-shot. I like it, but it has been reported that it is a tad disturbing. Not to the Grima Wormtongue fans I'm sure...
PIRATES OF THE OPERA: Ever-so-steadily updating. Whenever my co-writer and I get hyper enough to do it. ;)
RESILIENCE: Inspired by a role-player on twitter - very dark. I'm not sure if I'll continue this one, but it definitely scratched the dark itch I had that day.
RETRIBUTION: A very exciting piece I wrote for a contest. It makes my imagination reel. I love pieces written about the wives; I think they're rather forgotten. Oneshot.
SALVATION: A story I wrote for two friends about Alec and Jane. I like to imagine what they're human lives were like. Oneshot.
SHINZON'S PREY: A one-shot that I wrote during the long summer. It's based off of Star Trek: Nemesis, the last movie in the Star Trek series. (I DO NOT consider the new one to be worthy enough to be part of the series.) OC/AU; I finally found it, and published it. Tell me what you think of it.
SCOURGE OF GOTHAM: Mostly done. All chapters I have written are uploaded. Keep the feedback coming! (Also not my best work--written sophomore year of high-school--published as part of a dare.)
THE ULTIMATE VICTORY: Another spontaneous oneshot written while I was in a darker mood. (Don't you love those...?) It is VERY dark and sadistic, but I think it captures Caius rather well...

I, Dani Jones, do solemnly swear to review all the fics I read; regardless of the number of reviews, the fic's age, rating, publishing date, etc., for I have joined the Review Revolution! Reviews are a dying art (if you can call it that), and as we all know, reviews are a great way to get feedback, and thoughts from our readers. Apart from that, they are very nice to receive and add to your stats reading! Too long I have looked at the number of 'hits' and 'reads' my stories get, and then compared it to the number of reviews and been sadly disappointed. Have you ever heard the phrase, "Give, and it will be given to you?" Or how about, "What goes around comes around?" In order to get reviews, you must...review! How long does it take to send a quick thought or compliment? Fifteen seconds? I am joining this group, to give support to all of the authors on FanFiction!
