Man, I think it's high time to actually rewrite my bio. Okay, well, here goes.

My name is edessa. Not really, of course. Brown hair, brown eyes, and a sophmore.

I'm a reader, writer, equestrian, musician, artist, mess maker, shopper, friend, sister, and a billion other things. Oh yes, I'm also a girl. With pride.

Um..let's see. I really like to write, which is why I'm here. Unfortunately, I can't make up my own stories and make them good, so I borrow names and settings from other authors - another reason why I'm here. It's called fanfiction for a reason.

I have a ton of favorite authors, but only a couple who I absolutely LOVE. Here's the ones I really love: Rick Riordian, Sherwood Smith, and Eoin Colfer. By FAR my favorite authors. All are fantasy writers, of course. Unfortunately, Sherwood Smith doesn't get half the popularity she deserves - every single book from her that I've picked up has been awesome.

Favorite books? Inda, The Fox, Court & Crown Duel, the Percy Jackson series, Twilight series, and a bunch of others. The Artemis Fowl series used to be one of my favorites, until Mr. Colfer killed off Root. Evil, evil man. Of course my respect went sky high for him after he wrote Airman, that was an awesomely AMAZING book!! I HIGHLY recommend it, especially for people that are interested in the turn of the century, with the inventions and all that in a still medievalish setting. :):):)

Here's where I talk about my favorite things. Disregard if you wish, but I'd like to put them up anyway. Because right now, I'm really, really bored.

Favorite food: I can't even pick. I love mahi mahi and salmon though..

Favorite color: I love red, especially the darker shades. No clue why.

Favorite songs: There's so many..here goes..Better in Time by Leona Lewis, Take a Bow by Rihanna, Disturbia by Rihanna, ALL of Jordin Sparks songs, especially Tattoo, No Air, and One Step at a Time...believe me, there are many, many more.

Favorite singers and bands: Rascal Flatts, Avril Lavigne, Natasha Bedingfield, Marie Digby, Rihanna, Jordin Sparks, Leona Lewis...the list goes on.

Favorite movies: Pirates, Lord of the Rings, 27 dresses, Legally Blonde...

Favorite TV show: Definitely CSI. Not the miami or whatever else there is. Just CSI.

Favorite stores: Hollister, Aeropostale, and American Eagle. Abercrombie is sickeningly immodest, especially with all those pictures up, so I don't go there.

NOW we talk about my stories. Yay!

My biggest one: New Beginnings
New Beginnings is about an OC character, a half-blood named Rosalynn. She doesn't know who she is yet, but Annabeth, who goes to the school with her, has basically figured out that she is. I'm almost getting to the part where she has to go to camp. Yay! Then things will get interesting. She'll go on a quest with Percy and Annabeth, maybe Tyson or Grover - I'm not sure yet. Also, as of 9/7/08, I'm really sorry about not writing in so long, this has most definiately been my longest break. I just lost my muse. It's not like I've lost my plot ideas for the story, I've just lost interest in it. But I've noticed it's returning, so the next chapter will definitaly be soon.

This is my only story for twilight. I'm not going to continue it, but..yeah. First attempt at humor.

Oneshots in the Life of Annabeth Chase
This is basically a bunch of oneshots of scenes with Annabeth in the books. All the books are narrated by Percy - sometimes we wonder what Annabeth is thinking, yes? So I've got the next chapter of this half done, but I don't remember what they all say in the scene of the Lightning Thief that I'm doing. So I reserved a copy of the book at the library, once I get that, I'll get the next chapter up really soon.

Comfort from Friends
My most recent update. Oneshot, with Percy narrating. Pretty self explanatory-Percy is feeling down, so Juniper and Annabeth cheer him up. Like Juniper says, Be like a tree. lol. Anyway, this one is my favorite.

An Aching Soul
As soon as I get some ideas, I'd really like to continue this one. It has a lot of potential, or at least I think it does. It's about a OC girl, who's name is Lorin. She is abused by her stepmother, and her stepfather skipped out on the family. She IS a half-blood, so she will go to camp. Instead of Annabeth finding her, though, it's Percy who discovers her. I got the first chapter, or was it the prologue...never mind. One chapter is up.

TKAM story
To Kill a Mockingbird assignment that I put up here. I'll probably just delete it someday, because it's taking up space. Anyway, not much to say.

yep, that's all my stories. I'll (of course) add more soon, but I hope to just focus on continuing chapters rather than making a bunch of different stories.

UPDATE: I'm really sorry I haven't updated - I've got a few documents half-written from different stories, namely new beginnings and an Annabeth oneshot. My family is going on a "family camping trip" this weekend (oh boy), so we'll see how that goes. We're getting back on sunday night, so hopefully I'll be able to get another chapter up soon for all you guys. Gotta go, ttyl!
