Hey, I'm GlenWriter! I've been lurking on here for a bit before deciding to make an account. Who ever created this site is a genius! A Pure genius!
Anyways, here's a bit of info about me. I'm 14 and I have been homeschooled for about four or five years. I have been doing Tae Kwan Do with my mom and sister for about 2 years and we all have our black belts. I love to write and I'm working on this story which I hope to publish someday.
Also, I have Autism, or Aspergers. I was diagnosed with Severe Autism at the age of three, but had signs of Autism for about two years. My parents decided to get me checked out at three (the same month my mom found out she was pregnant with my little sister and around the time my great grandma died) and they found out I have Autism. They later got me therapy and I spent the next five to six years doing therapy. I now have Aspergers or high functioning Autism. But note to those parents and professionals reading this: not all kids with Autism can become Aspergers with just therapy. Different things work for different people. Each person with Autism, High Functioning Autism, and Aspergers are different. No two persons with Autism are the same. So when helping a person with Autism, use your instincts. If something works for the person, keep doing it. If something doesn't work, stop doing it. Also remember that Autism is not the only thing that the person is and that they are still human and have feelings.
Ok...enough with the long speeches. I'm off to explore this site. And who knows, I might run into your fan fiction. Kwa heri! (that means 'good bye' in Swahili ).
