Hey :-)

Ok, so some littel facts about me: My name's Mel and I got promoted from mere 'civilian' to 'major civilian' after attending the German GateCamp in 2001 and winning a 'Search and Rescue'-mission with my team SG-5. Hence the - stupid - penname. ;-))

Aside from this little uninteresting tidbit, I'm a 'Gater now for over 8 years. My first posts and fanfics on the samandjack-list @ (now) date back to as early as January 2000 and well, I haven't really left SG-fandom since then. Got hooked up on SG-A the day it came out but got distracted a little by the new Galactica show on SciFi.

So far you'll find here two of my German BSG stories, which were written for a fanfiction contest over at and a little SG-1 Cam/Vala ficlet in English. The latter one is to get my back into my old playground and writing again in a 'verse I just love: Stargate!

Oh, and in case you haven't guessed yet - yes, English's not my first language. That would be German, see, with living in the middle of the Western parts of it and all... ;-) Well, enjoy the stories and whatever, whereever - have a nice day!
