Author has written 21 stories for Janet Evanovich. Alfonsina del Mar (actually Alfonsina Storni) was a great poet in Argentina during the first third of the 20th century. She drowned herself in the ocean after she was diagnosed with a cancer. I am a 'babe' at heart, but I actually enjoy misdirection. When you read my stories, expect the unexpected or the twist. Even if you get an ending you are expecting, it may take a while to get down that particular road. I have been extremely pleased at the number of writers who are beginning to see the virtue of the liberal use of MM. They make great toys at the pool (you decide the kind), are handy, and like taking care of pesky things like spiders and snakes. THE TART PLEDGE Posted to verify I will be true to myself. I, Alf, do hereby If my muse decides he wants a Tart ending, If my muse wants multiple Tart endings, If my muse wants me to write a couple having their wicked way You have my word. Tart = someone who isn't necessarily a Babe or a Cupcake. Tarts believe that the MM deserve their own place in the sun, whether or not they find a relationship in the endeavor. (There has been a dramatic increase in the number of writers of TART stories - for which I am beyond thrilled, proud, and impressed! Take a nearly, naked, well oiled, and naughty man, and pass the rest of the bunch to the person on your right.) I am a firm believer that an interesting story is more fun to read than a predictable one. I have always like magic and sleight of hand, though I am capable of neither. So I try to be unpredictable in the way I tell stories. My one-shots are seldom 'babe' or 'cupcake' ... they are virtually all misdirected. Due to the fact that most of my one shots are incredibly trivial and poorly written, the lion's share of them have been removed. I prefer to post longer pieces and continue to develop the characters. My one shots have a very limited life expectancy. My longer stories don't have predictable endings either; in fact when I wrote Nothing But Time on My Hands, I wrote three endings to see if it was possible to make everyone happy. It isn't possible to please everyone, but it was a good exercise anyway. Wait, After Samhain is predictable, but it is romance for the sake of romance.
