So I know it's been positively AGES since I've updated. A couple of things happened: 1) I moved from Texas to British Columbia in a 6 day slog I never want to repeat; 2) I got married, which means I have someone else to consider, and can't spend all day Saturday in my jammies, writing like I used to, even though my husband wouldn't care (bless him); 3) I enrolled in grad school to get a master's degree in library science. As of this past May, I am officially little0bird, MA, MLS. It was two gruelling years of work, research, and reading. I did the program online, believe it or not, which is not for the faint of heart. It takes a lot of self-motivation to get up and plop in front of your computer all day, without the extrinsic motivation of actually having to physically show up for a class.

Hi... First, my apologies for not updating more regularly. As many of you know, I'm a teacher, and this year has been mentally draining. So sadly, updating hasn't been a priority, even though I want to update. Second, I haven't abandoned anything! I promise, I will update when I can. Again, my apologies for the rather large gaps between updates.

Questions and Answers has won 'Outstanding Depiction of Family Life (written)' for 2010 at the hpgw_otp on Livejournal. Wow. That's 2 years in a row now. I'm stunned...
