Name: Josh

Home: Michigan

Howdy how, my names Josh, for those who missed the name part and I like writing stories. I hope to be an author someday, maybe even a movie writer or game designer, but first, I'm gonna go join the Marines and kill some terrorists, so wish me luck.

Also, if you happen to send me a PM and it tells you that I'm not allowing PMs, that's either someone messing with my profile because I forgot to logout, or it's a computer virus. I always accept PMs.

Anti-flaming movement

This is for all of you out there who are against flaming. Constructive criticism points out flaws in stories, allowing the author to correct them. A flame is a pointless insult of someone's work meant only to discourage the person from writing, which is why I, myself, am against it. And now there's a movement here to stand against flaming. The main idea in the Anti-flaming movement is to spread the word to as many people who are against flaming, so that we can take a stand. Notice that it's the Anti-flaming movement, not the anti-flamer movement. Flamers can be nice people who are just misguided. That's why the best solution to stop flaming is not to flame them, but to take a stand. It's possible to turn flamers away without flaming them. Indeed, if you look on certain flamers' profiles, they actually see your flames as another oppurtunity to criticize you. Take a stand, and join the Anti-flaming movement! Here's how to join: Copy this into your profile, and PM me so I can add your name to the list of members, which I will show here. If you could let others on this site and off about the movement, that would be good too, because they might be able to take this to other sites. Every contribution helps!

The University professor challenged his students with this question. "Did God create everything that exists?" A student bravely replied, "Yes he did!" "God created everything?" The professor asked.

"Yes sir", the student replied.

The professor answered, "If God created everything, then God created evil, since evil exists, and according to the principle that our works define who we are, then God is evil."

The student became quiet before such an answer. The professor, quite pleased with himself, boasted to the students that he had proven once more that the Christian faith was a myth. Another student raised his hand and said, "Can I ask you a question, professor?"

"Of course", replied the professor.

The student stood up and asked, "Professor, does cold exist?" "What kind of question is this? Of course it exists. Have you never been cold?" The students snickered at the young man's question.

The young man replied, "In fact, sir, cold does not exist. According to the laws of physics, what we consider cold is in reality the absence of heat. Every body or object is susceptible to study when it has or transmits energy, and heat is what makes a body or matter have or transmit energy. Absolute zero (-460F) is the total absence of heat; all matter becomes inert and incapable of reaction at that temperature. Cold does not exist. We have created this word to describe how we feel if we have no heat."

The student continued, "Professor, does darkness exist?"

The professor responded, "Of course it does."

The student replied, "Once again you are wrong, sir, darkness does not exist either. Darkness is in reality the absence of light. Light we can study, but not darkness. In fact we can use Newton 's prism to break white light into many colors and study the various wavelengths of each color. You cannot measure darkness. A simple ray of light can break into a world of Darkness and illuminate it. How can you know how dark a certain space is? You measure the amount of light present. Isn't this correct? Darkness is a term used by man to describe what happens when there is no light present."

Finally the young man asked the professor, "Sir, does evil exist?"

Now uncertain, the professor responded, "Of course as I have already said. We see it everyday. It is in the daily example of man's inhumanity to man. It is in the multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the world. These manifestations are nothing else but evil."

To this the student replied, "Evil does not exist sir, or at least it does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is just like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God's love present in his heart. It's like the cold that comes when there is no heat or the darkness that comes when there is no light."

The professor sat down totally deflated.

Gay Marriage
We should rewrite thousands of years of marital law to allow 2 people of the same gender to marry, just because they said so. While we're at it, let's rewrite marriage to include anything people want, like a man marrying his dog, or a woman marrying her cousin like they did in the old days. Heck, let's let people marry their own children since marriage no longer means anything.

Everyone supports gay marriage...which is why they voted against it in California (the most liberal state in the USA, next to Massachussetts).

Opposing homosexuality is bigotry...cuz only bigots would oppose an old man going after their kids.

-If you support marriage remaining between one man and one woman, copy and paste this to your profile.

Two Versions... Two Morals

The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long,
Building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.

The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool
And laughs and dances and plays the summer away.

Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed.

The grasshopper has no food or shelter,
So he dies out in the cold.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Be responsible for yourself!

The ant works hard in the withering heat and the rain all summer long,
Building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.

The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool

And laughs and dances and plays the summer away.

Come winter, the shivering grasshopper calls a press conference and
Demands to know why the ant should be allowed to be warm
And well fed while he is cold and starving.

CBS, NBC , PBS, CNN, and ABC show up
To provide pictures of the shivering grasshopper
Next to a video of the ant in his comfortable home
With a table filled with food.

America is stunned by the sharp contrast.

How can this be, that in a country of such wealth,
This poor grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?

Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah with the grasshopper
And everybody cries when they sing,
“It’s Not Easy Being Green.”

ACORN stages a demonstration in front of the ant’s house
Where the news stations film the group singing,
“We shall overcome…”

Then Rev. Jeremiah Wright has the group kneel
Down to pray to God for the grasshopper’s sake.

President Obama condemns the ant and blames:
President Bush,
President Reagan,
Christopher Columbus,
And the Pope
For the grasshopper’s plight.

Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid exclaim in an interview
With Larry King that the ant has gotten rich off the back
Of the grasshopper, and both call for an immediate tax hike
On the ant to make him pay his fair share.

Finally, the EEOC drafts the
Economic Equity & Anti-Grasshopper Act
Retroactive to the beginning of the summer.

The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of green bugs
And, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes,
His home is confiscated by the Government Czar
And given to the grasshopper.

The story ends as we see the grasshopper and his free-loading friends
Finishing up the last bits of the ant food
While the government house he is in, which, as you recall,
Just happens to be the ant’s old house,
Crumbles around them because the grasshopper doesn’t maintain it...

The ant has disappeared in the snow, never to be seen again..

The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident,
And the house, now abandoned,
Is taken over by a gang of spiders who
Terrorize the once prosperous
And once peaceful, neighborhood.

-Moral of the story: Be careful who you vote for.

Month One
Mommy I am only 4 inches long but I have all my organs.
I love the sound of your voice.
The sound of your heart beat is my favorite lullaby.

Month Two
Mommy today I learned how to suck my thumb.
If you could see me you could definitely tell that I am a baby.
I'm not big enough to survive outside my home though.
It is so nice and warm in here.

Month Three
You know what Mommy I'm a boy!!
I hope that makes you happy.
I always want you to be happy.
I don't like it when you cry.
You sound so sad.
It makes me sad too and I cry with you even though you can't hear me.

Month Four
Mommy my hair is starting to grow.
It is very short and fine but I will have a lot of it.
I spend a lot of my time exercising.
I can turn my head and curl my fingers and toes and stretch my arms and legs.
I am becoming quite good at it too.

Month Five
You went to the doctor today.
Mommy, he lied to you.
He said that I'm not a baby.
I am a baby Mommy, your baby.
I think and feel. Mommy, what's abortion?

Month Six
I can hear that doctor again.
I don't like him.
He seems cold and heartless.
Something is intruding my home.
The doctor called it a needle.
Mommy what is it?
It burns! Please make him stop!
I can't get away from it! Mommy! HELP me!

Month Seven
Mommy I am okay.
I am in Jesus's arms.
He is holding me.
He told me about abortion.
Why didn't you want me Mommy?

Every Abortion Is Just . . .

One more heart that was stopped.
Two more eyes that will never see.
Two more hands that will never touch.
Two more legs that will never run.
One more mouth that will never speak.
If you're against abortion, copy and paste this into your profile.

-If a woman gets raped and has a baby from it and her life isn't threatened by the pregnancy, then she should give it up for adoption. Why make the baby pay for what the rapist did? You were once a baby, too.

-Abortion is murder, if you strongly believe that, copy and paste it into your profile

People think the west is racist, but ignore the fact that slavery still exists in the east.

If you want racism to end, stop blaming all your problems on racism and take responsibility for your own life.

If you still think America is a racist country, then tell me why we elected a black president while the rest of the modern world hasn't.

- If you think racism has been overused, blown out of proportion, and cheapened to the point that it no longer means anything, copy and paste this to your profile.

They cause chaos, panic, disorder...and life would be boring as mothballs without em. That's why I love em so much. XD

-Cracka, and proud of it.

-Chaos, panic, disorder. My work here is done.

If you want to end war, end terrorism. The civilized world doesn't want war. We have put war behind us as a free and civilized people, but the war cult of Islam in the Middle East demands unending war and conquest, so as long as we cave in to their demands to disarm, there will always be war with them, because they will never stop hating us, and therefore, will never stop trying to kill us. Once we completely annihilate those who follow the cult of war, politely refered to as Islam, only then can we hope to have lasting peace. Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan weren't beaten with appeasement (just ask Neville Chamberlain) and the gates of Auschwitz weren't opened with sanctions, and Terrorists aren't going to stop fighting us just because we give up our nuclear weapons, they'll just build their own and destroy us with them. They'll never stop fighting until we are dead or they are. One side will win and the other will cease to exist.

The freedom to live as you like and do as you please, or a religion that dictates every aspect of your life?

Freedom or Sharia? What's it going to be?

The choice is yours, be prepared for the consequences.

-Vigilance is the price of liberty.

-For the waywardness of the simple will kill them, and the complacency of fools will destroy them (Proverbs 1:32)
