Update 4/9/10: Latest Fantastical Truths chapter is UP!
I am a mid twenties professional performing artist living and working out of New York. I have never been one to know stage fright in the way that most know it, my stage fright comes in my writing. I am deathly afraid of people reading my work. My hands get sweaty, my heart beat races, my breath shallows, I get all shaky, I become a mess at the thought of people reading my writing. However, I have found that fanfiction on a somewhat anonymous internet setting takes away a large amount of the anxiety I have with sharing the writing I work on. And I love that! It is so freeing to finally be unafraid of sharing my writing.
Currently working on my story Fantastical Truths. This story follows Ginny (from a third person perspective) through the entire series, focusing on the relationship she developed with Harry over the years. This story, being canon, also follows her relationships with Michael and Dean, which I have found some people aren't too keen on! Oh the flames I got when I had Dean kiss her for the first time! I don't update too quickly at the moment (probably 1 chapter every month or two at this point), as I do have a full time job and a full time life, but please rest assured that I will NOT abandon this lovely little story. You will have your full story, cross my heart! If I ever drop off the face of the earth, send a 'where are you' review. I found that those really do in fact make me feel guilty and I start writing again. BTW if you haven't read it, now is the time to start! We are THICK into Half Blood Prince time.
My soft spot in fan fiction is L/J oneshots. Harry/Ginny stories and Remus/Tonks are also very intriuging and well written time travel fics for Remus/Hermione (why wern't they born in a time when they could have had a chance!) also Teddy/Victorie stories are of new interest to me. I like fluff but I prefer it when it is paired with a bit of sarcasm, I like things that are biting and witty.
