Salutations, buenas dias, and howdy, and all that jazz. I am back, and I am doing slightly better in my kidney health. I hate to be a broken record, but thanks from the bottom of my heart for your patience. I get tired very easily and so it takes an eternity (or close enough) to write.
In addition, I am working on a non fiction project which, when I'm not at dialysis for a long time, is taking most of my free time. But, I have decided to update you, my readers, on a few things, and to say thanks to one and all for reviews, follow-ups, favorites, and anything that is not mentioned here. I really appreciate it, truly and gratefully. I also appreciate those who asked me to either edit or write story ideas. Believe me, I am grateful and wish I could, but the "torture chamber" (kidney machine) takes a long time, and after that, I work a full time job. By the time that is over, any spare time I may have is for finishing what I have started--some stories I started years ago, and would like to complete.
So, for the moment, I can't do any other projects; however, when I am finished with the stories you like, I will let any and all know so that I might be able to write any story ideas or edit any stories.
For the record, in the next few months, I hope to update "...Deja Vu", "Steel Thy Heart", "This could be the start" and the "Blossunzel Affair". I also hope to add some new stories if humanly possible, so don't lose hope, dear readers.
As for the other stories, we just have to see.
Some news on "Thirty Years": I have not abandoned that. It was in the deep freeze for awhile, but I hope to finish it. To set the record straight, the Doctor I created is still the male 13th I started with, but from another universe/dimensional plane. This was my intention even ten years ago when it started, and now that we have a profound change in the Doctor (no spoilers), the story is even more a part of an alternate universe, or since Rose is in it, two alternate universes.
As for my profile, I am enjoying my middle age, and I have an ordinary government job. I am in the southern US, and am a fan of many shows and movies, including Buffy, Supernatural, Grimm, OUAT, I Dream of Jeannie, Castle, Doctor Who, Bewitched, ST, Star Wars, West Side Story, etc., Fifties and Sixties comedies (for the most part, but I do like some comedies for other decades).
As for pairings, I do like Buffy and Spike; Lois and Clark; some Batman and Wonder Woman, as well as Catwoman; Tony and Jeannie; Caskett, to name a few; and, for the record, while I like canonical pairings (like the Doctor and Rose, for example,) I also like stories that are written well with unusual pairings. I don't mind going outside of canon for awhile, as long as they are well written. I mean, while vanilla ice cream is the norm, a little chocolate never hurts.
I am not a slash fan; that's all, sorry. If a couple is like that I do believe in being true to character, but I don't have any graphic scenes, mostly because I'm uncomfortable doing them. I may have an occasional sex scene, but I tend not to be too explicit; therefore, while I occasionally may use "M" once in awhile, most of my stories are "T"s.
My writing philosophy is that characters drive all other aspects of the story; so, I focus most on characters (real and imagined). Also, my overall philosophy is to do the golden rule. I try to give credit where credit is due; ask permission or print a disclaimer if I use another writer's work, and be courteous in my reviews. I ask that anyone reviewing here do that too. If not, the review will be removed. Anyway, sit back, relax, and enjoy my writing.
And, thanks for reading this, and my other work. I will see you next time.
