Author has written 25 stories for Final Fantasy VII, Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles, Battlestar Galactica: 2003, Avatar, and Stargate: SG-1.
A lot of folks have been asking where the name "Xeal II" came from. It's a long story, really, but suffice it to say the name originates from an old alias combined with a location in an old RPG. I will award points to anyone old enough to remember which.
My writing is dark, brooding and cynical. I don't care for self-insertions. Writing is not my fantasy, otherwise it could be summed up easily with a bevy of hot, naked sex slaves willing to do my every bidding. It is not my release, for that would be somewhat more crude. Neither is writing a sort of stealthy expression of political thought, for how could one write anarchy? Chaos doesn't lend itself to structured expression. No, writing for me is a form of world-building, an expression of what-if scenarios carefully worked out in my mind. How would characters react? What would they do and believe? It's more like a form of alternate history, but in a world I can control.
In simpler terms, I regard myself as a sort of Educated Barbarian; a Philosopher-Anarchist. One friend described as being, simultaneously, the most classy and educated person he knew and the most vulgar, disgusting fellow he had ever met. Those who have known me for long periods of time can vouch for this contradiction. It is not as impossible as it sounds. By day I am a Web Developer. By night I am a Industrial DJ and Dark Trance Producer of some renown. Once again, I will award points for those who can identify me, but I am deliberately vague about the matter. Fan fiction is not exactly well-regarded by the world at-large, and thus a certain amount of anonymity is needed here.
All of my Final Fantasy VII works are ancient, some dating back to the late 90s. I do not vouch for their quality any longer, but this is as good a place as any for them.
My completed TSCC and Avatar fics are somewhat decent, though they are still several years old now. Pandora's Hope, Shadow of a Giant and Of Men and Machines are good material. Touring Pandora is a cracked out humor fic, but of passable quality as well.
Dreadnought's Revenge: Active. Next chapter to come mid-November '13. Personally, I think this is one of my better fics. The more uncivilized colonials probably had a better chance at survival, being adapted at living on the fringe. This is, essentially, their story. However I'm not going to contradict canon either, so this story has a course of its own separate from that of Galactica. It does occur simultaneously though, so you will see events from the series driving some of the Cylon behavior and while Galactica remains unaware of Dreadnought, the reverse isn't necessarily the case. And to the moron that said "the ending is shitty" I can only say you obviously didn't notice that the story hasn't ended yet.
Terra's Tears: Suspended, but not dead. This is a darker fic, taking a very different view on the fate of Earth and how it ultimately affects Pandora. Essentially, the roles are reversed, but with the addition of a wild card in the form of an armed warship instead of an unarmed ISV. The survivors must adapt to Pandora's hostile environment, saving what they can of Earth's culture while avoiding angering the Na'vi clans. This will probably be my last Avatar fic.
Colonial Sunset: Suspended, but not dead. Note, this one will be extremely long and difficult to follow, given the truly IMMENSE timeline I must work with. BSG's ending is one that I was conflicted about, but came to terms with in this fic. The sheer epic nature of this story means I might epic fail... Let's hope not, so far the reviews seem to be mostly decent.
