Author has written 2 stories for Dragon Age, and Dungeons and Dragons.
After a very, very long hiatus (I think I was probably 13 or 14 the last time I was on here, I am now 22), I decided to return to the world of fanfiction! I just had one in particular that has been itching to be written down and I can't deny it any longer. Plus, I always liked writing, so I hope to maybe improve my writing while on the site again.
A little about me:
Age: 22, Birthday: 1/31/1995
Hobbies: Mostly video games (Dragon Age, The Witcher, Overwatch, Kingdom Hearts, the Jak series, and Pokemon, to name a few favorites), though I do often write out a story and then completely abandon it (usually because I'm just kinda lazy, or because I have a hard time connecting major plot-points). Just somewhat recently got into all things D&D, including some podcasts about it (The Adventure Zone is fucking amazing and if you like D&D or audiobooks or anything like that I'd highly recommend. Hilarious, and has a great storyline.) I also enjoy some outdoor hobbies, including snowboarding, hiking, kayaking, and boating. I'm not particularly sporty, but I do enjoy playing the occasional game of beach volleyball or soccer with friends.
Life: I just recently graduated college with a bachelor's of science in Applied Biology, so I will hopefully have a job in the field of research, or pharmaceuticals soon, as I am currently unemployed. Gained a lot more nerd hobbies in college, including a brief stint into Magic the Gathering (too expensive for me, though), many computer games (league of legends, as an example), etc.
Video Games: Listed in order of most played: Dragon Age Inquisition, The Elder Scrolls Online, The Witcher 3, Skyrim, Kingdom Hearts, Jak & Daxter series, Sly Cooper series, etc. I'm a sucker for anything with a good plot that is also fun to play, I tend to stay away from shooters (mostly because I'm bad at them), and I typically love playing RPG's the most.
Books: I don't read as much as I used to, but I'll list a few of my favorite series here: Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (all time favorite. I doubt this will ever change.), Lord of the Rings series (particularly The Hobbit is my favorite), Game of Thrones, Temeraire series, Good Omens: The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter- Witch, The Hunger Games, The Witcher book series, Harry Potter (though I don't love it as much as the rest of my generation it seems), and others of that sort (can't think of all that's been on my kindle recently).
Television Shows: Supernatural (probably the show I'm most obsessed with), Sherlock (with Bandersnatch Cummerbund), Doctor Who, Mythbusters (RIP), Game of Thrones (though I'm woefully behind on the show, since I knew the plot up till now I hadn't cared), Merlin (though I never did finish it, got bored), etc.
The Emerald Abyss: Kiera Trevelyan is an exceptional mage from the Ostwick circle who longs for freedom. Driven forward by a hatred of Templars, she joins the party attending the Divine Conclave, and her life is changed forever. Will she forgive the wrongs that have been done and learn to trust a templar? Can she ever forgive herself for what happened in her past and move on? Follows DA:I plot, with edits to the order of events here and there. Cullen/Trevelyan slow build romance, angst/grief. Work in progress - not sure how often I'll update other than when I come up with ideas, though I plan on being somewhat regular.
The East Wind: Eurus Rieta has recently relocated to the largest city on the continent due to some unforeseen events that have uprooted her life. What will the city have in store for the Tiefling rogue? This fic will be following my D&D character through the campaign that we are about to start. Of course, this means updates may not happen very swiftly, but I think the plan is for once a week or once every other week. Once we actually start the campaign, I will attempt to add new chapters within a few days after we play the campaign, especially since it will be fresher in my mind. Will be all written in Eurus' perspective, and rated M for likely swearing and violence.
