Author has written 12 stories for Fullmetal Alchemist, and Ouran High School Host Club.
A Little About Me:
Thanks for taking the time to read my profile : ) New Yorker here! I enjoy writing when I have the time. I write all types of fiction, not all I post. Fullmetal is one of my favs to write for, so I have some of those, and some Ouran High School Host Club as well. If you are reading my work, or just starting out, please regard my disclaimers seriously as many of my characters are adults and will conduct adult activity. (Oh, and watch out for my old 2008 stuff, eek!)
What I Write: Fullmetal Alchemist, Ouran High School Host Club
N/A; No Story Currently Being Uploaded
- Last Story Posted: The Big Bang Theory. Completion Date: 04/11/2014
- Unexpected delay in posting schedule (I have moved states and changed jobs!)
- Hopeful Post: FMA Oneshot: Thanksgiving Week
- Hopeful Post: FMA Oneshot: Christmas Week
- FMA Board of Squares, delayed until mid 2015 (until work settles down, sorry).
- Fullmetal Alchemist: Board of Squares
[Completed Multi-Chapter Story. Rated T. Hurt/Comfort/Angst] This story has some great scenes / great older Ed.
Ed has finally restored Alphonse to his flesh body, but as Alphonse adjusts, Ed devotion is misunderstood, turning something beautiful into something disgusting. Desperate, Ed must turn to the colonel-and-team for help at his darkest hour, or risk losing everything. When the chips are down, you play the only way you can, with blood.
- Fullmetal Alchemist: Say What
[Completed OneShot. Rated K. Humor/Drama] Cracks me up.
When Roy hears Edward use an expression he’s unfamiliar with, he can’t get it out from under his skin until he understands it. Short, simple, cute. One Shot.
- Fullmetal Alchemist: The Art of Spelling
[Completed OneShot. Rated K. Humor/Drama] Cracks me up.
An afternoon in the office from the viewpoint of our ever duteous subordinates, who are amusingly creative to pass the time when Ed comes in to report. You will get a laugh.
- Fullmetal Alchemist: The Gender of A Woman
[Completed OneShot. Rated K. Humor/Drama] Cute.
Sometimes one little word, can mean a lot.
- Fullmetal Alchemist: Pay A Person With Kindness
[Completed OneShot. Rated K. Humor/Drama]. The summary says it all.
An inappropriate gift, an unexpected response.
- Ouran High School Host Club: Castling Kings
[Completed Multi-Chapter Story. Rated T. Action/Hurt/Comfort]
There is truth inside Hikaru and Kaoru’s brotherly love act, but nothing incestuous. When a few students can’t get this through their heads, the brothers find themselves at the end of a very dangerous equation. Lost and desperate Tamaki elbows his way into the middle of things dragging Kyoya along. Now the only question is, how far will others take things, and how far will we go to keep them from getting there.
- Ouran High School Host Club: Hero Proxy
[Completed Multi-Chapter Story. Rated T. Hurt Comfort/Drama]
Acting identical comes flawlessly to the twins, but when Kaoru becomes sick with an embarrassing something Hikaru doesn’t have, the twins are flustered. Going to school alone is just not as fun as going together. With Kaoru uncomfortable Hikaru stands in for his brother, and ends up putting himself in grave danger with one innocently stupid mistake.
- Ouran High School Host Club: We Can Not Tolerate Intolerance
[In-Progress Multi-Chapter Story. Rated MA. Suspense/Hurt Comfort.] This story is amazing
One day mom says something that changes the way we think about the rights granted to all humans, and Kaoru finds himself with passionate views in support of gay rights, while Hikaru can’t get past the word gay. Determined to be a voice against intolerance, Kaoru is attacked for speaking up, and the brothers begin a strong but shaky path forward, struggling to navigate in new terrain without sacrificing what is important to them. A serious topic woven deeply into the playful and humorous world of the Host Club. Just because we make light of something, doesn’t mean we don’t realize how significant it is. We can not tolerate intolerance, because the only deafening silence, is the silence of the good.
- Ouran High School Host Club: Grasp At Straws
[In-Progress Multi-Chapter Story. Rated MA. Horror/Angst] You will sweat.
A joy ride turns into an accident, but there is something wrong with the only responder on sight to the crash. Standing alongside a shattered car, with the club groggy and recovering from the flip of the Ferrari, Kyoya gets that sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach telling him there is something gravely wrong. This story will scare you. Run from danger, and run into the woods frantic for safety. Just how far do we have to go to get away.
- Fullmetal Alchemist: Arsenal of Jewels
[In-Progress...good god, why when you start a new story, does it feel like everything you write is crap, and everything you've ever written was somehow just a lucky fluke?] This story's focus will be Human Acceptance: what makes you part of a group, what makes you worthy of one, and sometimes, what has to happen for you to realize its okay to be accepted. (This will have some hella-crazy action scenes, if I can pull it off).
...As you may know not many of my stories are short or One Shots. These are all long multi-chapter stories, and do you see how I hop around in between them? lol I am a mess. However, as I close on a story I usually open the floor in my A/Ns with possible suggestions of what I might post next - and I always commit and post a date so you know what's coming.
...Another reminder, watch out for my older stories guys, there aren't many but they are there. They have the cover image "2008 Mirage" and that's the year they were written. Agh, horrible grammar errors. One day I really will fix them, (and I am not just saying that!). You saw proof with "Another Run of Events," just give me time. So if you can, read the new stuff first, and hold out on the old - and of course, review as you go!
- Fullmetal Alchemist: [Community Manager] "State Certified"
Elite, fully completed works of mastery. Accepting all story types as long as they are high quality.
Why did I make this? We need more communities meant to archive quality stories for quality readers. Can I do this alone? Absolutely not. I think it's unrealistic to suggest it can be a one person job, and equally as unrealistic to suggest one person should be judge and jury. So I am: *SOLICITING YOUR HELP* Know any quality reads? Message me and tell me, please! I want that writer to get their credit! Help their story wiggle out from under the mountain of FMA stories burying it so people can read it! My goal is simple: Give the good stories, and good writers their due credit, and help us find good stories to read. (Who doesn't like a good one? :) [FYI: I only add my own stories, if they are recommended by a reader to be added...yeah, I am not going to be *that community manager.]
- Fullmetal Alchemist: [Community Staff] "The Sanctuary of Yaoi"
I recently accepted a staff invitation here, and hope to have some activity soon! If you're reading this, and know any FMA Yaoi stories you feel are top-of-the-top, please PM me and share so they might be considered! I won't lie, I don't have time to hunt them all down, but I want writers applying themselves to get their due credit. Please feel free to help that happen.

Apprentice Application - NEW!:
If you’re a fan of my writing style, currently writing FMA, I am temporarily accepting “Apprentice Applications.”
What is that? Everyone starts somewhere, and we have a lot we can share with each other. If you’re serious about improving your writing (and we’re all always improving), and think I can help…I might. I am very busy, but I very much want to help individuals who think they can benefit from my thoughts or style. So I am accepting PM Applications, tell me a little about what you’re trying to improve and why, and what you’re writing. Keep it short and sweet, and we’ll take it from there. Trying to improve myself, I’ve had people be rude, be condescending, be cruelly critical, and that’s not what I am here to do. No one can learn when they’re upset. Everything you write is special, but learning to write what’s in your heart, the best way for your readers, will make you great.
If we work together, I will respond with a "Cup of Tea," a relaxing collection of advise and analysis aimed at what you want to discuss using thoughts and tips that have helped me. Writing can frustrate and stress us, a "Cup of Tea," is meant to sooth you.
My Penname Standards:
To all of you I promise, when you read my work you will receive:
1. Only completed stories. I do not post if I am not done, period.
2. Accurate story/rating disclosure.
3. A disclosed posting schedule - I do this out of respect for your time.
4. No wasted time adding disclaimers to every story - within my profile is my DISCLAIMER.
5. My continued strive to do my best. For all the errors you have seen, and will see, I apologize. Not a day goes by I don't learn something new.
I do not own, or claim to own, any of the copyrighted information borrowed for the purpose of creating fanfiction. However, I own my own characters and generated content, and will avidly fight for them. My stories also include adult themes, as many of my characters are adults, and I require respect to rating disclaimers posted on each. If you read something you don’t like, or were unprepared for, I will take no fault as you were previously warned. Please keep an open mind in reading, and in life, and realize that people are at different walks of life and have the right to their own happiness and free will.
The Plight For Reviews – How We Seek Them Like A Drug:
If you are reading my profile, I must assume you have read something I have written. Perhaps you loved it, perhaps you hated it - regardless I would like your valuable thoughts. Please leave a review. Worried it won’t sound clever? It will to me. Please always take the time to comment on anything you read to anyone who wrote it. If you also write, you understand the drug addicted anxiety and excitement reviews bring. As a humble writer I smear myself onto the pages I write and offer them up to your criticism and judgment. If you can, please recognize the hours that go into crafting a story with a few moments of your time and comment. Review as you go - every chapter - as a courtesy.
My favorite Books: Backroads by O’Dell and A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius by Eggers. Read them, they’re amazing. Amy Tan and Dan Brown also have real talent.
Want to Contact Me?:
I am a social person! I don’t mind : ) Like my work? Are you writing? I will lend an ear or some advise if I can. We have a tremendous amount to learn from each other, and I will share my strengths in hopes they can aid you. Live in New York? We can grab Starbucks!
MISC Services I Can Give:
1. Going to college now? Or soon? Don't know what you want to be when you grow up? I have lots to share in this area, message me with any questions - if I have inside tips, I'll share! (You can never have too many tips here).
2. In the job market? Building a resume just sound, frightening? Human Resources is my profession, and I am happy to help! Questions or requests for help, don't be shy, half of all I learn, I learn to share.
Member of, The Review Revolution:
I, mirage, do solemnly swear to (try to) review all the fics I enjoy, regardless of the number of reviews, its age, or anything else. (I do this guys. I know what it's like to get reviews, and so I always give them. Please repeat).
[Post this same thing in your profile and spread the love!]
04-12-2014 - "The Big Bang Theory," is now fully uploaded! Woo! Working on, "Arsenal of Jewels," preparing for my trip to Japan, and organizing my thoughts for the FMA community, "State Certified," I want to launch. We need more solid active communities out there, and we have such awesome people on here, and it's wonder there aren't more.
11-25-2013 - Epilogue of, "Foolish For You," just posted. (Still tired from my trip to Ireland and Scotland). Why is it so sad to have stories end when you work so hard to post them, and are so eager to have people read their endings? Sneak Peek of:"The Big Bang Theory" up 12/20/13, fingers crossed my readers like. When did I become a slave to you guys? lol
06-06-2013 - Foolish is now up! Fingers crossed this will go well.
05-10-2013 - Posting the last chapter of, "The Silent Heart," Epilogue up next week. So Sad. Thanks to everyone who voted for the next story. I am excited and eager to post some yummy RoyxEd goodness...but not without a high rating that is. : )
03-28-2013 - Working hard on, "Board of Squares," it's crazy how when you're working on a fic you can't judge your own quality until you step back. I am hoping this will be a good solid story.
02-01-2013 - One month into, "The Silent Heart." I love this story, and I am so glad others are enjoying it as well. I am trying to get my act together to work on others so there is something fun posting this spring and summer of 2013. I managed lots of editing while in Egypt and Israel.
11-02-2012 - Just finished posting, "Another Run of Events." It feels so sad! but I am truly anxious to post my baby, "The Silent Heart," to kick off the new year.
08-12-2012 – Wow that holiday was longer than I thought, but I am back! While finishing my degrees I completed several stories I wanted, and actually rewrote several I really like and have posted, so they improved from 2006 versions to 2012 (nice!). I plan to return with my new version of “Another Run of Events” (FMA), and a humorous OHSHC one shot entitled, “Without a Rubber,” to say hello to the OHSHC fans I’ve never met. To all, I am excited to be back!!
02-28-2010 - I am taking a permanent holiday for the next few years until I finish my graduate degree! I will continue to write but not until graduation, upon which there will be an entire mess of FMA and OHSHC stories posted. I apologize to everyone if you've like what I've written and want more...it will come, I promise. To everyone who has been so supportive and willing to wait for me - THANK YOU! To everyone writing while in college - YOU CAN DO IT!!
