Well, here I am... (again)
Why on earth I ever decided back in January (2008) to try my hand at creative writing, I'll never know. I think it was my subconscious New Year's resolution. And here it is going on two years later... and I'm still plugging away at it in bits and pieces.
A Repeat of History is my first story. Ever...
No, I take that back. When I was 13 I typed up one of those "Choose-Your-Own-Adventure" books. (grin) That was many many moons ago though.
And now Let Loose the Dogs Of War is my unfinished sequel to A Repeat of History... Which now admittedly I haven't touched in nearly a year. I still have the plot bunnies but have been too distracted to get back in to it. Perhaps someday. My first fanfiction stories were in the Tin Man universe. Now, I'm kind of smitten with the Buckaroo Banzai saga. The fanfiction stories are few and far between but I still want to get in to it.
I'm in my mid-30's and have been married to my high-school sweetheart for ten years this October. My other hobbies include tennis, paper crafts (like greeting cards, not so much scrapbooking) and during the winter videogames like Final Fantasy. During the summer it's hard to stay indoors on the computer. It's also with much sadness that I need to mention that our beloved dog, Hamburg passed away on Good Friday of this year.
I took the alias of Penny Hill since that's where I grew up. I'm told that my great-grandfather bought a few hundred acres and called it "Penny Hill". Unfortunately no one remembers why he named it like that. The only evidence remaining is that across the road, the avenue leading into the development is called "Penny Hill Avenue." And the few hundred acres that he owned is now down to just under the 50 that belong to my parents.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you've enjoyed my stories.
