Okay, random stuff about me:
School: a large Midwestern university currently
Undergraduate Major: Chemistry
Graduate Program: Chemical Education
Future Career: I'd like to do research for a few years then eventually teach at a community college or university, depending on what is available and if I want to take a tenure route
Favorite Shows: Stargate Atlantis, Stargate SG-l, Danny Phantom, Fringe, Generator Rex, Avatar, Castle, Arrow
Favorite Books: Eragon/Eldest, Chronicles of Narnia, Lord of the Rings, Left Behind, and many more.
Favorite Movies: the Bourne movies trilogy, the Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and so forth; I like a lot of different movies, and it's hard for me to pick favorites really. Currently, my favs are Rise of the Guardians, Brave, How to Train Your Dragon, and the Hobbit.
Favorite Music Group Currently: Tenth Avenue North
Likes: hanging out with good friends, horseback riding and competing, tacos, reading, swimming, relaxing without homework and studying, learning the answers to various questions about how the natural and technological world works, natural sciences, nature, watching cool shows, etc
Lately, I've been reading Rise of the Guardians fanfics as my little release, my little bit of fun each day. Thank you to all you writers who spend your free time writing these awesome fics!
Dislikes: spicy foods, bad grammar, spelling, and diction in stories, people who act like they know it all and/or flaunt their intelligence over those of us who are less brilliant, asparagas, getting yelled at (I'm rather sensitive)
What's Important to Me: spending time with friends and family, my faith and relationship with my heavenly Father, doing my best in whatever I do, discovering and fulfilling my purpose in life
This is what I write when I first joined fanfiction 5 years ago. it's interesting to see how much I've changed. I'll keep it here for me really, as a reminder of where I've come from and who I am now:
About Me: I don't consider myself smart or brilliant, I just work hard. Things don't usually come easy for me and I end up working twice as hard as others to remain at their level. Now that I'm in college, I have to work even harder than before. A typical day in my life looks something like this: get up, go to classes, eat lunch, do homework/study, eat dinner, do homework, go to bed. I go to bed between 12 and 1 on average, but if I have more than usual to do, its 2 or 3. My suitemate teases me about being hoveled up in my room 24/7. Unfortunately, she's not far from the truth. It's rather depressing. And I'm not even taking classes for my major. Ok, technically my chem and calc classes are, and I am taking all honors courses so I guess I asked for it. I can't really escape my doom at this point. I just have to work as hard as I possibly can and do my best--I can do no more. Something in me refuses to give in. There is little deviation in my schedule and little time for fun, but I do manage to have some. I have some amazing friends and family who I get to do fun things with every so often. And my daily fun is reading updates on fanfics. Again, writers, you guys are awesome! You brighten my day :)
No, I don't have any stories up. I enjoy reading far more than writing. I have this page mostly due to writers who want readers to review but do not allow anonymous reviews. Hence, I created an account so I could review and make writers happy :)
