 Author has written 32 stories for Ninja Turtles, Transformers/Beast Wars, Sherlock, and Fullmetal Alchemist. Wow… Work you absolutely suck! I wish I wasn’t an adult right now!!! Long story short, through a series of surgeries and people unexpectantly leaving the company for one reason or another I’ve been switched to a different department to help back fill their sudden losses. I really don’t mind business travel but even I have my limits. Sleeping/living in hotels and airports for five to seven days only to go home for maybe twenty four hours before heading out again? That’s my limit. Jet lag has been absolute murder and I think half the time I am only running thanks to a heavy dose of caffeine in my system. So yes, my resolution took a bit of a hit because of this. I’ve just been to everywhere to even try doing some free typing. Good news is that I’m finally starting to get use to this wild schedule so stories should start popping up again with regular consistency again. To top it all off my home computer fried itself during a thunderstorm while I was away. I did lose a chunk of a new material I’ve –thankfully!- been using google docs more and more for my free writing so it’s not a real hard blow… unless you were looking forward to those updates. In that case: I’m sorry! It’s not like I planned this! I’ve turn my poor computer's remains over to a good friend who’s a computer geek for both a living and for pleasure. He’s going to try and recover the corrupted data. Keep your fingers crossed! About Me Me? Uh… there really isn’t anything special about me except that I am, well, me. The one and only. Details? Well… I live in New England, working at an industrial design firm as a liaison for the entire eastern seaboard sector (somehow this sector also includes Seattle, Washington?). I have a small house that I adore and a cat that tries to help me type by lying on the keyboard (I’m still trying to figure out how this helps me but she seems to think it does so that’s that). I play video games, watch anime and read Steampunk novels. I work as a part-time seamstress occasionally and I am highly addicted to the overly price but delicious Starbucks coffee. Writing for me is a hobby, I worked as a technical writer for a while and quit when it led to a hatred for writing in general. I didn’t write anything for a few years while I worked there. I know I am not the best proof reader in the world -my spelling sucks and grammar fails me occasionally- but it still fun for me. I’ll take the critiques for a few misspelled words and improper verb usage for that any day. Turtle’s Universe I have received several pm’s in the past month asking me what turtle’s universe I write in, whether it the Nickelodeon cartoon or the current comic or the 2003 series from 4Kids. The answer surprised all of the questioners so I figured that I should share with everyone who was curious. I write in all of them. While I do stick heavily with the general story line of the 2003 series with the TMNT CGI Movie following immediately after, I have pulled references and events from all the cartoons, movies and comics. Hopefully this clears it up for some people so they don’t keep driving themselves nuts trying to figure out which universe I write too. Still not really sure why it matters to some people but I guess it does. AO3 I’ve had several people ask me over the past few months if I was on Archive of Our Own. Sadly I am not and I don’t see myself signing up for an account over there any time in the near future. Saying my life is a bit crazy right now is kind of an understatement and there are times it is all I can do to keep this account up to date. Hopefully by the end of the summer I can revisit this idea. I’ll post all developments here on this site and on AO3 as well mostly because I really doubt my screen name is still available over there so I will be going with a different screen name. Current WIP’s: A Most Deadly Game: So close to be complete after all these years. The final chapter is being especially difficult to get out. And it’s also turning into a bit of a monster. 15,000 words and counting. It’s stupidly big and needs to be edited back a bit. I Love to Hate You: Vortex and Blades are back at each other’s throats as I’ve finally pushed through my writer’s block on this story. It took way too long for this too happen :( Wasteland: The aerials are coming back for the second part of their story. Life is not going to be kind for them out in the Rust Sea that’s for sure. And the Piece Fall Together: Slow going. Sorry, I know a lot of people want to know what the others are thinking but I’m having a hard time bouncing back and forth between the six POVs. I’m plodding along slow and steady on it, hoping to keep to a once every two month update schedule. Secret Identity: Three chapters are ready to go. Just need final editing and checks done and then evenly spacing out the updates. The Bitter Truth: Substantially better to proofread than the other story I wrote at the same time (see directly above) so it will probably be updated a bit faster. Back Down the Rabbit Hole: Poor turtles, they’ve been waiting almost a year for this cliffhanger to resolve… The Wreckers: Takes place in the Neoteric universe, the same one as the Flying Through Turbulent Skies is located in. My own little playhouse. In the Shadows: I had wanted to start posting this in September… though that was over a year ago. Working on chapter two currently, chapter one will be up in the next two weeks or so. A Dark Moon Rising: A 'new' story. Really it's just a rewrite of one I started way back when I first joined the site. The original has been deleted. Unspeakable: Still trying to get the kinks worked out of this story and then it’s off to Charmy for approval. Hoping to start posting this one by Fall. 'Coffee Cups and Late Night Talks' is undergoing massive rework. When you see it reposted as 'Half Empty Coffee Cups' you’re going to want to start at chapter one.
