Author has written 10 stories for Kingdom Hearts, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, and Final Fantasy XII.
(That counts as one word, right?)
Anyway, I've done a lot of Kingdom Hearts stuff but I've kinda put that aside for a while. On a huge Dragon Age kick right now. Might do some Legend of Zelda stuff in the future, I've got some great ideas that I just haven't bothered putting into writing.
About Masks (formerly Champion Dragon Age 2):
It was supposed to be a series of oneshots, but people got confused by the 'complete' status and I decided to condense it. Hopefully there will be updates coming soon!
HERE THERE BE SPOILERS!
As far as Hawke is concerned, I'm trying to avoid an in-story infodump, but for those of you that are interested: Hawke is a female rogue, somewhere between Paragon!Hawke and Snarky!Hawke. She took Assassin and Duelist specializations (because I love them.) SPOILERS FROM HERE ONWARD. She took Anders and Fenris to the Deep Roads, so Bethany became a Circle Mage; she killed the Arishok in single combat after Isabela returned the Tome of Koslun. She romanced Fenris but flirted with Anders. She sided with the mages against Meredith, let Anders run off after bombing the Chantry, and pissed off Sebastian to boot.
I have the Exiled Prince, Legacy, and Mark of the Assassin DLCs, so those will probably get mentioned (although I don't think I'll make them too plot-relevant, since I'm sure there will be readers that haven't played them.)
Haven't decided if my Warden will make an appearance, but on the off chance he does, his name is Wesley Cousland (human noble origin), a sword-and-shield warrior with Champion and Reaver specializations; he romanced Zevran, talked Alistair into marrying Anora, impregnated Morrigan, and recruited the mages, elves, dwarves (under Bhelen) and Arl Eamon's men before slaying the Archdemon.
SPOILERS END HERE.
Masks will probably take considerable liberties with what I think could happen after Dragon Age 2, but I'm doing my best to stick as close to canon as is possible with such a variable RPG. And even having played the game at least ten times to date, I'm sure I'm missing a few things, so bear with me.
About Almost Enough (Kingdom Hearts):
It's probably one of my few older works that I don't hate. Actually, I kinda adore it. It was the first oneshot I worked on, and also my first foray into a new style that I'm certainly going to keep working with. I'm not generally a Riku x Namine fangirl (I'm more of the opinion that Riku doesn't need a romantic interest) but after playing through his storyline in Chain of Memories (which wasn't actually a great game as far as I'm concerned, but I digress) and getting different pieces of his story through 358/2 Days and re: Coded, I thought his relationship with Namine (even if it was a just-friends thing) was kind of sweet and worth exploring.
Wow, that was a really long sentence. I apologize.
Anyway, I like it, I'm keeping it, I might do a few more like it, but who knows?
About Path of Darkness (Kingdom Hearts):
It's not finished. It will probably never be finished. In fact, screw it, YES, it's discontinued. Not because I didn't like it or I didn't get readers, just because my writer's ADD said 'nope!' and it sat for far too long. (Like, two years.) Then when I picked it up I was like, 'this sucks!' and tried to rewrite it, got sick of it, and let it sit some more. It's a vicious cycle. So it's not getting done.
About the Twilight Avenger trilogy (Kingdom Hearts):
It's done. (Hooray!) And as much as I enjoyed writing it, I won't pick it up again. The more I read it the more I get frustrated with my old writing style/character Mary-Sueing/inside jokes/screwed up continuity/obsolete predictions. It'll stay up forever as far as I'm concerned, but I don't think it's my best work and I won't go back to it. That said, my friend Lauren has picked up Bruixe in some of her work. Her author name is RockOnRose if you're interested.
