Hi all. This is Maggie, from May 23, 2016. This is to say good bye. As you can see from my Tumblr post from a while ago, my life was and still is crazy. A few things have gotten better, for sure (like there are less lawsuits now than before, and though I am technically homeless, I am lucky enough to get housing during the school year and get jobs that give me housing or allow me to afford housing during the summer). I might get back into writing fanfiction, and I hope to, but even then, I won't be writing on here anymore, nor will I be writing Hetalia. If anything at all, I'll be writing Destiel and other fandoms over on AO3, with the same username. But that's unlikely. I haven't updated there in over a year, though I'm trying. Writing is a relaxing privilege that I miss dearly, and am struggling to return to. I know it's good for me, but knowing is only a bit of the battle.

Thanks for sticking with me through all these years. I had a long debate as to whether I would just delete everything and forget this ever happened. But then I realized that this is a part of me, and as much as it can be cringe-worthy writing or embarrassing characterization or whatever sometimes, it's still what I did, who I was. And there have been a lot of damn good memories here. So I'll keep it up until the cows come home, a memento of the times you and I shared, or a greeting to the new ones entering the fandom who happen to find me. Hello. You've stumbled upon an old and forgotten soul. Thank you for carrying the torch for Hetalia onward.

This is all to say that I suck at keeping promises, life is never what you expect it to be, and you guys are freakin' troopers for being here anyway. I know I haven't done right by you. I know I haven't treated you well by abandoning things. I'm sorry. But you all have so much love to give, and I hope you go spread that love all over each and every fandom you're in. I've had my time, and it was pretty damn awesome.

I'm eternally grateful.
