Author has written 2 stories for Harry Potter.
I have recently rediscovered this site in a giant wave of Jr. High nostalgia...luckily for me, I am not that same person who last edited my profile. I have grown up; I have matured; I am much more mentally organized. Now that I am in college, I know that J.K. Rowling is not going to come and offer to publish my stories as companion books, but I have also realized that FanFiction is so much more than that: it is an opportunity to expand the worlds we have adopted as our own. So although I may be writing FanFiction as more of a practice sort of a situation, I will still treat it seriously, for I know that I have found refuge in the written word of authors on here when I crave new content. And to all you other writers that may be stumbling across my profile for some unknown reason: keep it up. Don't give up writing FanFiction. Like I said, it provides an escape for those need an enclave as well as offering an excellent opportunity to improve your writing skills. Even if you do not aspire to write for a living, writing is important; you need practice, so why not practice with something you enjoy?
"Without ever leaving the ground, she could fly."
"Be not afraid of greatness. Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them."
"You sort of start thinking that anything is possible if you've got enough nerve."
"I arise in the morning torn between a desire to improve the world and a desire to enjoy the world. This makes it hard to plan the day."
"To me, 'fearless' is not the absence of fear. It's not being completely unafraid. To me, fearless is having fears. Fearless is having doubts. Lots of them. To me, fearless is living in spite of those things that scare you to death...But no matter what love throws at you, you have to believe in it. You have to believe in love stories and prince charmings and happily ever after. That's why I write these songs. Because I think love is fearless."
"I just write what I want to write. I write what amuses me. It's totally for myself."
"I have seen war. I have seen war on land and sea. I have seen blood running from the wounded...I have seen the dead in the mud. I have seen cities destroyed...I have seen children starving. I have seen the agony of mothers and wives. I hate war."
