Author has written 13 stories for Redwall, Naruto, Chess, Merlin, Dead Poets Society, and Parks and Recreation.
So I recently started writing fanfiction again after years of not writing anything. It came to my attention that this profile was a relic of my middle school, Naruto-obsessed self. That isn't exactly me anymore. It WAS me at one time, and I accept that, but I feel that if I'm going to publish stories again, I want anyone who reads my profile to get an actual sense of who I am. Somewhat. So, here goes.
I fancy myself a composer of music. At least, that's my current major in college. Right now, I don't think I'd have it any other way.
I'm a Clarinetist. YAY CLARINET! :D
I play piano as well.
I also love English and History, but as a music major, sacrifices must be made. But I've sworn that I will take a literature class. I will. It will happen.
I have been really into Merlin for a while. But now it's over!! :( I'm still sort of in withdrawal, but I feel like I've done well in the recovery process. I ship Freya/Merlin mainly. They are so beautiful and I wish there were more fic out there for them. I also like the occasional good Merthur AU.
I recently rediscovered my love for Dead Poets Society. I saw it for the first time in eight grade, and absolutely loved it. And then my DVD disappeared sometime in 10th grade, and I didn't watch it for three years. Only, my DVD got replaced. And now my love of that movie has resurfaced. I think, unbeknownst to me, it was manifesting inside of me for those three years...and it suddenly exploded. And I ship Anderperry. Don't tell me it isn't canon. I won't listen.
I also watch the Lizzie Bennet Diaries, so who knows? I'm starting to get more and more invested in them. If I get a good idea, then I might write a story. Mostly, I just can't help but think I want a man like William Darcy.
I like musicals as well, though I can't attest to having seen many. I want to so badly though. So badly. My favorites are In the Heights, Aida, and Chess. Yes, Chess. I have a DVD of Chess in Concert, and I think there's a possibility I may write fic for Chess. I've already written part of one.
I like to read. Here are some of my favorite books;
Good Omens, by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. I love it. It's hilarious, and filled with fascinating questions about religion and humanity. And Crowley/Aziraphale. :)
The Evil Genius Trilogy, by Catherine Jinks
The Book Thief, by Markus Zusak
The Red Necklace, by Sally Gardner. Seriously, I love this book. I read it before the Tom Hiddleston audiobook too. Though, even I will admit, it's a pretty wonderful audiobook.
The Chanters of Tremaris Trilogy, by Kate Constable
And the Harry Potter books, of course. Harry Potter is just too ingrained in me at this point in my life.
And I'm sure there are more that I'm forgetting, but these are some of the main ones that I can admit to having read over and over again. I am finally delving into the world of John Green. Finally. I watched some vlogbrothers videos, loved them, and couldn't help but ask, "Why have I never read any of his books?" So I'm getting on to that.
Anyway, the hope is that when I'm not feeling so obligated to write music, I will write and post some stories here. I'm excited to be back into writing fiction, and I hope it goes over well!
