Elizabeth Bennet, being more aware of her financial situation decides to give Mr. Collins due consideration in the Longbourn Proposal. This is an unusual work, with three stories in one. It's a one-shot, a short-story and a novel slightly larger than canon all in one. It mixes math, metaphors, and all sorts of craziness to come up with 3 HEAs. More than a bit off the beaten path.

As suggested in the title of Jane Austen's original work, Darcy's greatest failing is pride. His passionate love for Elizabeth only mitigates this character flaw, resulting in the awful proposal at Hunsford. If happenstance forced Darcy to marry Elizabeth before he loved her, or even knew her at all, would he ever be able to get past his pride to recognise his fortune?

Jane and Lizzy must prepare to face an uncertain future. Shunned by Mrs. Bennet and largely ignored by Mr. Bennet, they face additional challenges when a young gentleman of fortune leases Netherfield Park. Inspired by that moment in the 2005 movie where they are inches apart during the first proposal. The tension always gets to me. I intended this as a one shot, but decided to continue. I don't own any part referencing something from the movie or book.

Mr Darcy wasn't one of the party that first came to Netherfield leading to altered events at the beginning of the story. Jane and Bingley came to an understanding much quicker and Darcy and Elizabeth first meet just before Bingley and Jane's wedding.

What if Mr Darcy had no opportunity to propose to Elizabeth Bennet at Rosings Park? What if he had made the worst fault and compromised her reputation instead? Would he attempt to repair such a fault or allow the Bennet family to fall into disgrace?

Based on the 2005 movie. What would have happened if instead of walking away in anger, they had just taken a breath and closed the scant distance between them during the proposal scene in the rain? A story about forgiveness and overcoming the obstacles of family, friends, society and their own pride and prejudices to find their happy ending. Fluff. Some characters are slightly OOC.
