Author has written 18 stories for Lord of the Rings, StarTrek: The Next Generation, StarTrek: The Original Series, Stargate: Atlantis, ThunderCats, Battlestar Galactica: 2003, Torchwood, StarTrek: Deep Space Nine, Melrose Place, Sanctuary, Walking Dead, Stargate: SG-1, Merlin, Downton Abbey, and Captain America.
When I posted my first stories, I was trading off writing for school and for fun. With my academic program done (whoo hoo!), I'm back to reading and writing recreationally. With time and mental attention thus freed, I will hopefully get to some of those plot bunnies, story scraps and almost done pieces--in addition to catching up on reading and reviewing a long list of good stuff I've been bookmarking here...
SciFi/Fantasy is my escape from the mundane world, and penning in my favorite universes, an even greater getaway. As with many others authors here, I've a number of incomplete works which I'm hoping my involvement here will help motivate me to wrap up and share.
With these completions and updates (all in need of helpful reviews!), I'm following the Muse among the partial and planned plotbunnies below...
I've posted starter chapters* for a few of the WIPs listed below (full descriptions one section down); and welcome your input on where to focus next.
ALL incomplete stories are works-in-progress, and WILL be finished; I'm just following the meandering muse amongst them. Constructive reviews, story follows (alert subscriptions), etc --all are good encouragement!
*Captain America: Right Neighborly (working title). Marvel movieverse.
·Carrier: Onboard (working title). Based on PBS documentary following the crew of a US Navy aircraft carrier across 6 month deployment.
*Downton Abbey: Guy(s) Night
*Melrose Place: Valery (working title)
·Roswell: yet untitled. A legal alien arrives in town with sights set on Max.
*Sanctuary: Mischief's Week
·Sliders: Worst of Both Worlds. When Quinn inadvertently gets involved in his counterpart's relationship, everyone suffers.
*Stargate: Atlantis: Compassion Cloak
*The Walking Dead: Here, No Evil
I also have plot bunnies for Harry Potter, Star Trek (movie reboot), and Tomorrow People (original) pieces; a ThunderCats sequel; and a third in my Stargate: Atlantis series. But I probably won't start them until a few more of the above are wrapped.
And, of course, writing pithier abstracts for said stories, and reading others' great work here!
Many thanks for your constructive reviews and feedback along the way. Good writing, and good reading!
