 I am a long time science fiction fan and a more recent fan of How to Train Your Dragon in all of its incarnations. And I am much too old for any age restrictions. I have joined fanfiction primarily to have the ability to post reviews and as a reader. There are some truly remarkable authors posting in this forum. My writing in the past has been confined to scientific reports, the occasional journal article and newsletters for organizations to which I belong. The only piece of fiction that I have ever written was a final exam for college freshman English literature, which was an evaluation of humanity based on the premise that the course books were the only surviving literature found by an alien starship visiting Earth post nuclear holocaust (Think of the final aftermath from On the Beach). However, some of the stories that I have read after my recent discovery of the fan fiction universe have given me some ideas for a couple of potential stories. Will I write them? We'll see... My screen name was inspired by harrypanther's screen name. Anakin is my large long haired black cat whose full name is Anakin Mousestalker (with apologies to George Lucas!). |
