My research tells me that Virginia Woolf did not visit any part of America at that time, or ever, but I have followed the WCTH story regarding this. I have also surmised that the book being reviewed was The Voyage Out, as it was her first novel which was published at that time.

After the disastrous S8 (especially the finale), this story would not leave me alone. I couldn't imagine Bill Avery just accepting Elizabeth's decision. Elizabeth has finally realized where her true heart lies and overcomes her fears. She and Nathan embark on the adventure of building their lives together, while some changes come to Hope Valley.

This is a sequel to Aftershock. Elizabeth and Nathan are planning their wedding while the Coulters are adjusting to life with two children. Everything seems to be falling into place for the people of Hope Valley. However, fate has other plans. Can the hurdles be cleared or will dreams for the future evaporate before they can be realize?

A rewrite of the Season 8 finale of When Calls the Heart

Elizabeth reflects on her choices over the past months, makes amends with those she has hurt, and finds the courage to heed the true call of her heart - to Nathan.
