I have enjoyed writing and especially reading all my life, but only since 2020 have I started finding myself wanting to write whole stories that could lead to posting (and in fan fiction, I'm only comfortable/interested in doing it for video games, apparently). At that same time is about when I discovered FNAF and started listening to its music, starting with TryHardNinja after I looked him up for his most famous Minecraft songs that I remembered from my childhood. It's Me was my very first FNAF anything...meanwhile, I've enjoyed Portal for a year or two longer than that, don't remember specifically. Only since spring 2021 have I actually started reading fan fiction at all.

As for my username, I'm a gardener who loves plants quite a lot. Lenticels are the fissures in non-photosynthetic plant tissue, everything from fruit to stems and bark to underground structures like potato tubers that allow that organ to breathe and facilitate gas exchange (and one of my favorite words). I have several favorite plant related words, like peduncle (stem of a flower or fruit, as opposed to leaf stems which are called petioles), but I chose lenticel because, well, you could think of it as a portal in plant tissue...
