Author has written 11 stories for Gone with the Wind, I Dream of Jeannie, Gomer Pyle, U.S.M.C., Gilligan's Island, Doogie Howser, M.D., Newsies, and Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

Hey, Y'all!

Don't worry, I'm not going to bore you with a full history of my life. I'm just a simple little country girl from Ohio now living in Kentucky. I love horses, Americana music, Southern culture, and great film/literature. I am currently a student at the University of Kentucky and working toward a BS in Equine Science and Management.

I was knee-deep in 4H horse projects back in my younger days. If you have any horse-related questions at all you'd like to ask for some small detail or aspect of your fanfic(s), feel free to contact to me! I'll gladly give you all the information you need. :)

I adore getting reviews on my stories! I love hearing what you have to say, good, bad, or ugly. I'm here to work on improving my writing skills while I'm slogging through college. I dream of being a published (in print) author one day and I can't do it without your help! That's why I especially love it when people take the time to chime in and give me some substantial concrit! So, if you've read something of mine and haven't reviewed it yet, please hit that back arrow and leave me a review!

My pen name comes from my personal favorite of all racehorses (mainly because he was the one who drew me into the sport in the first place), Smarty Jones. Just in case any of y'all were wondering.

Certainly I'm a rascal, and why not? It's a free country and a man may be a rascal if he chooses. It's only hypocrites like you, my dear lady, just as black at heart but trying to hide it, who become enraged when called by their right names. - Rhett Butler

The tops of the mountains belong to God and He don't want His wild things disturbed. - Unknown

If a man builds a machine, and that machine conspires with another machine built by another man, are those men conspiring? - The Accountant, The Accountant

The more you toot, the better you feel, so eat some beans with every meal. - Mrs. Hutsell

The basic rule...was simple and heartbreaking. A story to be effective had to convey something from writer to reader, and the power of its offering was the measure of its excellence. Outside of that...there were no rules. - John Steinbeck

Man is the only thing where supply exceeds the demand. How can he justify his existence? - Lucius Beebe

It's do-able but it ain't gonna be purdy. - The Accountant, The Accountant

Just 'cause I don't run my mouth don't mean I got nothing to say. - Mike Cooley

The formula seems to lie solely in the aching urge of the writer to convey something he feels important to the reader. If the writer has that urge, he may sometimes but by no means always find the way to do it. - John Steinbeck

Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn. - Rhett Butler

Jesus made the flowers but it took a dog to make the story good. - Mike Cooley

Strange, isn't it? Each man's life touches so many other lives. When he isn't around, he leaves an awful hole, doesn't he? - Clarence Oddbody, It's a Wonderful Life

The imaginations of other people will carry them away to form wrong judgements of our conduct, and to decide on it by slight appearances. - Sense & Sensibility

He can't trust his own reality; he don't know what it is no more. He starts ACTIN' COUNTRY instead of BEIN' COUNTRY! - The Accountant, The Accountant

After all, tomorrow is another day! - Scarlett O'Hara, Gone With the Wind

I will go so far as to say that the writer who is not scared is happily unaware of the remote and tantalizing majesty of the medium. - John Steinbeck

The import of kudzu was short-sighted. - Tino Armani, Randy & The Mob
