Author has written 15 stories for Super Smash Brothers, Avatar: Last Airbender, Legend of Zelda, Warcraft, Kingdom Hearts, Detentionaire, 6teen, and Total Drama series.
How times have changed.
Time to change things around on here, huh?
My FictionPress page, also updates when I feel like writing something original.
STORIES TO COME:
Shadow of the Day (6Teen): Jonesey and the gang cope with a comatose Nikki.
Spring Break Sucks! (Detentionaire): Lee and his friends are stuck in A. Nigma for the week of Spring Break.
Total Drama Detention (Total Drama/Detentionaire crossover): Eighteen teens face off in A. Nigma High for a chance at $1,000,000!
Home for a Nobody: New chapter!
One in Infinity: Chapter's almost done. Might take a little longer since I intend to write well into the following chapter before I upload the finished one. But it's coming, and with a neat twist I really like.
So I Dated a Sociopath: Rewriting the chapter after a point, only because the original scene didn't feel right when I first wrote it. So went back and rewrote most of the scene and trying to go from there.
Has it really been fourteen years? Fourteen years since I first signed up on this site, a snot-nosed, uninspired, little twit still finding my style? I guess it has, because fourteen years later, I've found my groove and I've run it. I wrote some really bad stuff back in the day. Stuff that really showed how young and unrefined I was. Stuff I am more than glad to have lost due to malfunctioning floppy disks, data corruption and Windows 98 in general being a piece of shit. If I could go back and rewrite some of those stories, chances are good I just might. But I won't. I have forgotten what a lot of them were, what their premise was and what characters were used.
Well, not all of them.
Believe it or not, fourteen years is a long time to learn what works and what doesn't. No reader ever expects you to be the best the first couple of stories, I've learned that the hard way. If they do, then they're a pretentious sack of shit who holds a higher standard over everyone else and need a good bat to the kneecaps. This is my advice to you newbies: Start by sucking. It's how you get better. In time, you'll find your own pace, you'll get into a rhythm, hell you'll probably find a few new fandoms along the way that might even inspire you further. I was fourteen when I signed up on this site, and I've stuck it out for fourteen years and I still don't schedule when my stories update. It's just a matter of preference. Motivate to get that story done. Because when others read and leave a good, constructive comment on where you went wrong, get it right the next chapter. And eventually you work to improve your stories as a whole.
It's been fourteen years. I'm not done writing. Here's to another fourteen.
