A Hiccstrid Modern AU. Astrid, stuck in not only one, but two dead-end jobs, trying to get back on track after moving to Berk, sets her kitchen on fire - accidentally, but still more than just once. Hiccup, a young firefighter, who is one more quarter-life crisis away from becoming a crazy cat lady, is the first responder. Contains strong language and mature themes.

Race to the Edge, set a couple days after the final battle, but before the epilogue. Hiccup and Astrid talk about the details Astrid left out of her 'what if' scenario, which leads to them exploring new things back at the spot where everything changed. (RTTE S6 spoilers!)
