Update: I decided to clean up my profile because it was cluttered. I may not finish it now, but the edits will happen. Details will be added every now and then.
As you all know, my pen name is Runic Healer. I'm an IT student with major in Multimedia.
I had an older account, but I am embarrassed over it because it had the worst things I had ever written in the face of the planet. I am not proud of what I had written, and I wish I never wrote them. I do remember writing stories that are just as embarrassing before, but they are now gone from the face of the planet.
I admit that I am not perfect, I have weaknesses. Which is why I am here to improve. I do understand criticism does not mean pure flames. Criticism means pointing out the details that are good and details that need improvement. If someone calls my stories shit, I think I warrant an explanation, and I'll work out on that.
Trivia: I used to be straightedge. I didn't get any tattoos because it felt like contradicting the vow of purity. I stopped being straightedge when I can obviously not stop drinking booze. I still don't smoke and I have no plans on getting any tattoos and/or piercings. I have needle phobia. Which also means I don't do illegal drugs. I take stuff like paracetamol and anti-histamines, but I don't smoke pot nor do I get a fix. Ew.
Like I said, I'm one of the nicest reviewers. However, that does not mean I cannot be blunt or incapable of giving harsh criticism. Also, if I am looking at a violator, I won't think twice on writing down a warning.
Mary Sue's - First and foremost, I am a feminist. Meaning, I like strong female characters. However, I draw the line when a female character becomes ridiculously strong. Even as a feminist, I do take in large doses of reality, and I hate lack of realism. I hate characters, regardless of gender, to be utterly, without a doubt, unmistakably, perfect. I don't want to sympathize with them, I don't want to support them. Why? I can't sympathize with someone who has the power to make things better, but refuses to do so all because of unrealistic or easily remedied dilemmas. I prefer characters struggling with what they have because their abilities are not enough, then throw in some moral drama. I prefer them over Sue's.
OOC - There are plenty of characters on plenty of fandoms. I also like keeping them in character. If ever, I see someone whose canon personality and canon ideals, do something which he consider morally reprehensible just because he wants to, I'd whip out my flame thrower. As much as you enjoy Dark Stories, please give the good guys a valid reason to turn. There are plenty of ways to fuck up with a good guy, know them and make sure they react accordingly.
Yaoi - I'm a fan of slash. I know a few people who doesn't love it, but that doesn't discourage me. What discourages me, however, is turning your male lead into a woman with man parts. 'What about your Warden, Lirenel Surana?' you ask. Well, the fic is unfinished. His manly points are down for the moment, but once I get to the main story of the game, come back and tell me how girly he is again. Back to my topic. Men are men. I believe they try to avoid talking because of the awkwardness, but when they talk, things are serious and bull shit only aggravates them.
Rape - This is a moral taboo. I hate it when I see plenty of stories glorifying this morally reprehensible crime. Rape doesn't make you fall in love. Rape violates you, it makes you feel like a worthless object only good for sex and nothing else. When raping someone, the rapist attacks someone at their most vulnerable states and the rapist tears their dignity, their sense of self, their self-worth, everything apart. Rape victims are not weak, but they hate sharing their experiences. They will always hate being raped because rape is a display of animal-like desire, and a display of power. Never. Ever. Glorify. Rape.
Torture & Bestiality - You'd have to be a sick bastard to glorify these. See my fic down there? I do feature torture, and I do say how wrong it is. As for bestiality... I don't even want to know what people find appealing about this.
Violators - I will review your story and warn you. I will not think twice about doing that.
Spelling & Grammar - English is not my first language, but I do try to improve. We all know the basics, and I hate reading fics that can't even follow them. If you think your grammar needs work, ask a beta reader.
My Summary/Story Sucks - Dude, if you posted your story here, at least have some faith. You're only fishing for praise by saying that. To be truly honest and humble does not mean to lower yourself, but to be truthful with what you can do. If you now you are good in a certain aspect of writing, don't say that you suck just so you can fish for compliments.
Holding Stories Hostages to get more Reviews - No one will want to review your fic if you're asking for a certain number of reviews before updating. The review system is present in order for the writer to receive feed back and the like. True, reviews may help motivate an author, but that is not a reason to hold your story as a hostage.
Flow/Development - I like slow building stories. Most of what I am writing build up over time, even if I don't have a paradise of chapters, the length makes up for it. It's rare for me to like a fast-paced story, but fast-paced is okay for action-centric stories. However, what I hate in fast pace is romance. Why? Love builds up over time, and I hate it when two characters just met and then fall in love right then and there. (Cough*Twilight*Cough*Attack of the Clones*Cough) I hate that. Other than romance, I also hate it when Characters suddenly have super powers over night. Seriously? Where is the struggle? The frustration and desperation to attain a certain skill? Come on! Training takes years, and even learning a move may take weeks to master. Why do you think that young fighters are thought of prodigies if they're good? Seriously?
Romance - Ah, the bane yet nectar of man's existence. For generations, romantic love had always been a point of man's fascination. Even now, it remains popular with the common and uncommon people. When an author decides to take time and let a relationship progress between two characters, these characters learn more about their counterparts and learn how to really love and respect one another. I find it funny that some authors that already set pairings set on stone that by the time the two are trying to fall in love, it just turns out forced. Well, looking at WLMH, I find it safe to say that most beginnings of the established romantic relationships do not show any hint of romance at all. There are three kinds of romance that I usually write, the 'we started as friends, but we got to know each other and learn about the good and bad about one another' kind, the 'I used to hate his/her guts, but when I got to know him/her more, he/she don't seem like a jerk anymore. I still hate it when he/she is trying to grope my butt in public.' type, and 'We met on a one-night stand, but it turned to fling. We sought other people for the first few months, but we ended up seeing each other more until it became a normal occurrence. We only realized we were in love when we were too comfortable and knew each other than f*ck buddies should.' type. Romance is like speech, it's a double-edged sword with both sides participating in the development of the relationship. The 'man' shouldn't be the only one trying to court the 'woman' and establish his romantic intents, the 'woman' must respond in kind. This applies to yaoi, yuri, and het.

Ah, Role Playing. An awesome way to pass the time and improve your skills as a writer, but I make sure not to connect much with any creations and I keep the fine line between Creator and Creation present. Alright, maybe that's my God Complex speaking, but I wouldn't want to pretend that I'm my own character and I'm bonking this character for fap material. That's slightly creepy and the only fantasies I entertain myself in are sort of like a third look on an existing relationship kind.
I can be found in, and if you wish, you can join in and hope to chat with me live. ;) My character's name is .
While I may complain about pairings, there are times I am particular with them. More often than not, I hate OC's paired with a main character. There are some pairings I avoid like the plague, and there are pairings that are just so wrong that I want to gouge my eyes with Styrofoam cut-outs.
Here is a list of pairings I can and cannot tolerate. If it's not there, assume my neutrality.:
Naruto - Tolerance: Positive
Kingdom Hearts - Tolerance: Positive
Star Wars (Expanded Universe Included)- Tolerance:Positive
Obi-Wan/Handmaiden of Queen Amidala
Assassin's Creed Tolerance:Positive
Harry Potter - Tolerance: Positive
Don't Use a Scalpel In a Sword Fight
To Where the Wind Blows
Hail and Snow
Forget Me Not
Also, I'm very proud of this baby. I finally managed to finish a multi-chaptered fic and it felt like an awesome milestone. Hopefully, I'd be able to finish my other works in the future.

A closer look at my cover art. I still need to improve my drawing skills... Especially backgrounds...
AT anon reviewers that criticize (specifically at the guy that reviewed H&S): Thanks for that and duly noted. I was rusty at writing at the time, so it pretty much sucked. Plenty of my stories (to my shame) have incorrect usage of verb tenses, which was my common mistake. Hopefully I'll improve in the future. Thanks. :D
