I, along with the program's aim, try to arrive at a positive outcome for all of us.

Elizabeth plucks up the courage to approach Nathan after school on the day he loses his nerve to ask her out in the livery. They share a private dinner, finally talking about their feelings. A different path is taken to find their happiness. Huge canon-divergence from there on with many of S8 moments included.

Christmas is a time for love, hope, and faith. Follow Nathan and Elizabeth through the years as they experience eight Christmases together with their growing family.

True love isn't all picnics and candlelit dinners (ahem... Lucas and Elizabeth). Sometimes true love is something a little more real. This short vignette is an AU story – what if Elizabeth first met Nathan in casual attire and didn't know he was the Mountie? Fiona challenges her new business partners, and old friends return to town.

The story follows Nathan and Allie a week after Elizabeth broke Nathan's heart. This story is about love, forgiveness and faith. Sometimes, we think it's the end of a story, when it's just another chapter... This is a new chapter in Nathan and Allie's life, with the discovery of true love.

Set after the events of Season 8. Nathan is trying to move on from Elizabeth's rejection. In the midst of this, Hope Valley is going to face a crisis like none other. What ensues will be a time of healing and love for our Mountie but with who? That remains to be seen.

As we wait for the finale, just some musings from different points of view covering the past few episodes and interactions between characters. Consider this fair warning: Whilst I do love all the characters, and will endeavor to make my peace with the decision, whatever it may be, I admit I am firmly entrenched in the #TeamNathan camp, and this story will reflect it.

For a long time, Elizabeth has been running away from the great love she could have with Nathan, due to her fear of losing him in the way she lost her first love. After Lucas sets her free, will she be able to finally face her fears and acknowledge what- or who- is truly in her heart?

Just a short story that wouldn't leave me alone after the final episode. I basically rewrote the ending the way I'm sure teamNathan has been imagining it for weeks. And that would honestly make more sense with how the season was going.
