This is the story of how Nathan rescued Little Jack and his visit to Fort Clay. He had to move on from Elizabeth and other new characters came into his life. They all avert catastrophe and they are forced to test how they feel now that we venture into season 9 and beyond. It's not going to be easy. I, along with the program's aim, try to arrive at a positive outcome for all of us.

This is what I saw happening after season 7 ended and after some season 8 spoilers started being announced. With season 8 already airing I know that this not accurate to the current story line regarding Nathan and Elizabeth's love and families.

The plan had been to go to Fort Clay, train the recruits and come back home to his new wife. Sometimes though, fate has a different plan in mind. This short vignette is an AU story – what if Elizabeth first met Nathan in casual attire and didn't know he was the Mountie? An episode-by-episode fix approach to season 8. This is Pro-Nathan, not a moving-on story. For example, in season 8 episode 1, what if Nathan had not asked Elizabeth to dinner but instead met her with her privately to share some information he had never told her before?

Little Jack wanders off and it takes many hours for him to be saved after being found in a dangerous situation. Nathan heads to Fort Clay to conduct a similar training mission which previously caused the demise of Mounty Jack.

Post-Season 8, New Year, 1919. Hope Valley faces some big surprises along the way, Nathan and Elizabeth take steps towards forming a desired deep, abiding friendship, Elizabeth and Lucas navigate their new and surprising dynamic as a couple, and Nathan bonds with and sees another friend in a new light. Fiona challenges her new business partners, and old friends return to town.

The story follows Nathan and Allie a week after Elizabeth broke Nathan's heart. This story is about love, forgiveness and faith. Sometimes, we think it's the end of a story, when it's just another chapter... This is a new chapter in Nathan and Allie's life, with the discovery of true love.

Set after the events of Season 8. Nathan is trying to move on from Elizabeth's rejection. In the midst of this, Hope Valley is going to face a crisis like none other. What ensues will be a time of healing and love for our Mountie but with who? That remains to be seen.

As we wait for the finale, just some musings from different points of view covering the past few episodes and interactions between characters. Consider this fair warning: Whilst I do love all the characters, and will endeavor to make my peace with the decision, whatever it may be, I admit I am firmly entrenched in the #TeamNathan camp, and this story will reflect it.

Hiding under a table was not the ideal way to meet someone, definitely not someone with a face that impressed itself on Darcy's mind. And escaping from Caroline Bingley was definitely not the ideal way to meet the same lady again. Elizabeth had never come to the rescue of a gentleman before, her curiosity and interest in human nature brings her to study the Hiding Gentleman.

Just a short story that wouldn't leave me alone after the final episode. I basically rewrote the ending the way I'm sure teamNathan has been imagining it for weeks. And that would honestly make more sense with how the season was going.

What if Fitzwilliam Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet had meet previously without knowing it? in this story Darcy meets Lizzy three times in her life before the Meryton Assembly. Each time he wants her in his life but has a selfish disdain for the feelings of others. If he wants to win Lizzys hand and heart he will have to overcome this defect.

After fearing she had lost Nathan to a gunshot wound, Elizabeth realizes that he is the answer to what is in her heart. This story picks up where season 7 ended.

How will this shy man change the past? Or will he get a new life to lead? How will his duty effect his Elizabeth, their families, his friends and mere strangers? Mature Scenes. Angst.

No disembodied voice calls out to Jane that night by the fire, and she accepts St John's proposal. However, Mr Rochester hears of the intended wedding, and must make sure it is truly what Jane wants. - A reimagined ending. Not because there is anything wrong with the existing one, but because I just can't get enough of that reunion!

Elizabeth and Fitzwilliam share a night of passion. What was a fun and exciting night for Elizabeth ended up changing her life forever. She is left to make very big decisions when it comes to Fitzwilliam the handsome hotel mogul and her ex George the big time rock star that is hell bent on getting her back.

This is the first fanfic I've ever written, and I've always found the Lizzy-Darcy storyline so irresistible. I'm trying to write this with as least angst as possible... the M rating is for later chapters. Also, I'm a cathartic writer, so this story will be more of an emotional outlet than a productive process. xx Steph

When Mr. Darcy comes to Netherfield for a short visit, Mr. and Mrs. Bingley think it wise to mind his comfort and, of course, Elizabeth's.

Lizzy is walking in the grounds of Pemberley with Georgiana and her Aunt when she takes a fall. Mr Darcy acts as a man violently in love can be expected to act.

Darcy plays hero to a stranded Elizabeth.

The following story has characters acting very OOC - if you don't like that then don't read ahead! What if Mr. Darcy had already been 'at home' when Elizabeth and Mr. and Mrs. Gardiner pay an unexpected visit to Pemberley. A rather naughty version of what could have happened if Lizzie Bennet had spied Mr. Darcy in his bedchamber after just getting out of the bath.

"The sight from within froze him where he stood. Miss Elizabeth was lying in her tub, with water reaching only half way to her waist. Her head hung back and rested on the edge of the wooden tub, her arms lazily splashing water over her arms and, by God, her beautiful chest. Darcy could do nothing but stare and hoped that Miss Elizabeth would not turn to look in his direction."
