Author has written 22 stories for Cheers.
Thanks for reading! I'm a Cheers fan from way back, and a Sam/Diane shipper for life. I think they have the most complex and fascinating relationship I've ever seen on television, and I can't seem to get enough of them. As much as I adore them, they are also my big OTP sadness. I never expected them to live happily ever after, but I did expect them to keep circling back, because like it or not, they really were it for each other.
Another ship of mine is David and Maddie of Moonlighting. Yes, they are a Sam/Diane knock-off, but still, love 'em. I'm also a fan of Jan and Michael from The Office. As you can see, I like my pairings angsty and complicated and fiery. It takes a lot to get me excited about (hell, even interested in) a TV pairing, but these three really give me endless food for thought. Sam and Diane top the list, though, no contest. I'm also a big Adventure Time fan, with special love for the Ice King/Simon. His history and his angst as well as his humor really captivate me. Another fave is Laverne & Shirley where Shirley/Carmine are my ship.
Anyway, I've always wanted to sit down and write about some of my ships, so here I am. I'll happily share when inspiration strikes. Hope you enjoy. Reviews are encouraging and let me know my stuff's not just going out into a void, so I really do appreciate any thoughts you have on my work. I give feedback to any stories I read because I know how important it is to encourage and support fellow writers. That said, if you're a serial non-reviewer of mine or others' work or are lifting material from others without crediting, please don't expect anything from me.
IMPORTANT: With respect to plagiarism, I've got no patience for it anymore. I understand imitation may be the sincerest form of flattery and a certain amount of influence is unavoidable, but when I see phrases or ideas that I spent a lot of time crafting from my heart, or which came from my own personal life experience in other people's "writing" more than once, I get angry. Further insult is added when you blatantly lift but don't even have the decency to review the work from which you are lifting wholesale. I'm not trying to be mean or harsh or discourage writers-- I'm just feeling used right now, which no writer should have to experience, especially when they are working only for the love of their craft. I've tried to be patient, but believe me, it took a more than one or two infringements to get me to this point. Please have the respect of my work as a reader to refrain from stealing my stuff, or I will have no choice but to stop creating material for you to take.
