Author has written 32 stories for Transformers/Beast Wars.
Giant transforming robots from the planet Cybertron are gradually taking over my brain. They won't go away - not that I want them to. I stubbed my toe yesterday and thought "slag." Should I be concerned?
More about me, in case you are curious:
I am an ooooold lady. I climb trees and take pride in the fact that my only pair of panty hose is (are?) the same ones I wore to my high school prom. That's how often I get dressed up.
I do. Play with worms I mean. Slimy things make me happy. Sometimes I feed worms to salamanders and frogs, also slimy. It's a bit of a moral dilemma, but I don't get too sentimental. Stuff eats stuff you know! Don't play with slimy things too long or it hurts their skin - always put them back somewhere damp and cool.
I've never written fiction in my life, just a bunch of lab reports and school papers. I have recently, however, discovered the meaning of the phrase "plot bunnies." Holy cow! Where did all these little hoppers come from! First there was one, now I've got a whole barn full of the doobers - pages and pages of outlines and random thoughts and strange jumbles of thought. Making them into readable stories - harder than it looks! Blasted dialogue - drives me nuts.
I'm a BIG chicken. I have no armor to speak of. I wish I had a thicker skin, but alas. Which means despite all of the enthusiastically breeding bunnies, I don't know if I'll muster the courage to show them to anyone. They're giving me great joy to write though, half-baked things that they are, and for that I thank all of the lovely authors here who inspired them.
Update: I wrote one! Wouldja look at that? Holy cow o_O
Look Ma - another one! And this one has chapters and everything. I'm learning not to be quite so horrified by my fic-babies in fetal form laughs They are awfully strange looking at first, kinda lumpy and big bulgy eyes, and what the heck is that chunk of sprawling prose, some sort of placenta or something? Yeesh, time to tie that off. Once you clean the smutch off and they plump up and grow a little hair on their bald little heads however, they're actually...kinda cute jiggles fic-babies fondly
Update 2/6/10 My one year anniversary on ff.net (sorta) and LOOKEE!! Look how many nifty writings have come tumbling out of my head! And thank you so much to everyone who has reviewed or commented - my head has now swelled to roughly the size of Betelgeuse (which is a red giant star, so that means it's HUGE). I'm waiting for the Pulizer Prize committee to call me any day now, lol. There's enough here now it might get a little confusing, if you're just stopping by for the first time, as I tend to skip around in time a lot - I think most of these read ok as stand alones anyway, but here's a rough chronological order:

Hello ffnet! I haven't been around here for awhile, but still writing - I'm hoping now that things have slowed down a bit for me in real life to start cross posting a few things here, but if you don't want to wait, everything's up on my Ao3 account or my Livejournal - I'm playswithworms in both places.
