Author has written 7 stories for Sailor Moon, Mai HiME, and Strike Witches.
Hello, I'm Neanda, or Nea for short if you'd like. After a long absence, I have finally made it back to ffnet, and I will be trying to break through my writer's block once again! Please bear with me as I struggle to get past the first chapter of...ANYTHING. I'm horrible at updating. And this is bad news, considering I have a lot of ideas for multi-chapter stories. Too many, in fact.
[Note that everything below is outdated due to a very long absence from this website. I'll try getting this updated as soon as possible]
Kino Makoto, aka Sailor Jupiter, is one of my favorite fictional characters, and my OTP is Ami/Mako, although I can definitely enjoy other pairings in anime. I talk quite a bit about shows I like over at my Tumblr (), so feel free to check it out.
Terminal Velocity -- Mako/Senpai...but not forever if I have a say in it
Hitojichi -- Ami/Mako...but it'll be tough to write
Many years ago, I read a Rei/Mako story where it started off with Mako in prison, after she robbed a convenience store for cash. This fic works with that premise and changes things up. Obviously, it inserts Ami into the mix. Secondly, Mako and Ami have never met (due to an age difference). And finally, not only does Mako's messed-up, improvised plan succeed, Ami ends up abducted. Hitojichi is japanese for "hostage", apparently. It just sounds so much cooler, doesn't it?
The Christmas Dilemma [complete] -- Ami/Mako
My first ever one-shot, inspired by real life and written in a matter of hours (mostly at night). And somehow it still ended up okay! It takes place in a slightly altered universe compared to the anime, which will be explained in the first story idea. But more importantly, it meant I could finally just go ahead and write some fluffy AmiMako without having to set up the pre-story I had in mind.
The Right Thing [complete] -- Midori & Youko friendship
My first non-Sailor Moon fanfiction! This one focuses mostly on episode 23 of the Mai Hime anime, exploring Midori's thought process during the episode as well as the aftermath. I also wanted to write out Youko's feelings on the whole matter; that was actually the original reason for trying this.
The Red String -- Ami/Mako and Rei/Minako
The prequel to The Christmas Dilemma! This is one I'm very excited about! In the Red String universe, there are some very important factors that have been changed. There was the Silver Millennium, yes, but after that some things aren't quite the same. There is no Senshi business. (but have no fear, the cats are there!) Makoto didn't attend Juuban that long; instead her best friend throughout middle and high school was Minako! Will the love that once existed in the Silver Millennium survive reincarnation? Or will the red string of love break, instead of bending? AmiMako, ReiMinako
Unnamed Makoto/Tomoko story -- Makoto/Tomoko...obviously!
It baffles me that in all this time, I have been able to track down ONE mention of this pairing. Does it make sense? No...but then a lot of pairings in fanfiction don't make sense. And considering the amount of Shinozaki/Mako and Nephrite/Mako ones floating around, I feel like it's a crime that there's nary a word about this ship. I mean, Sailor Moon is 20 years old now. TWENTY. But there has been no love for Mako's OTHER friend from the past. This fic will attempt to rectify that.
Crossovers -- Ami/Mako and other pairings, when applicable
Since I've been delving deeper into the Sailor Moon characters, mostly with the help of Jet Wolf's awesome Tumblr (, visit it! you will regret nothing), I have started inserting the Sailor Moon cast into other universes more than ever before. Mostly video games I've played and anime I've watched, although on a good day I can even work with TV shows I hardly watch or my favorite Disney Movies... That's why this crossover part is a general one; there are just too many examples!
Anyway, that's it. Feel free to send me a message to badger me for updates; Lord knows I could use the proverbial kick up my backside. And while you're at it, punch that horrible writer's block on the nose for me too. That way you're helping me in two ways!
