Hi if you've come by this profile you might be wondering who the heck I am lol. Formerly samanddianefan10 I felt like a name change was in order for several reasons. One, as much as I love sam and diane, I have new couples or characters who I've been into for quite a while now.
two, yes my first name is Melinda. I have no problem with people knowing my first name. Last name- totally different, not going to happen.
I don't mind a slightly less anonymous pen name, since I enjoy getting to know people and have no problems pm'ing people or receiving them.
third, I guess this is just in random order- there are now other samanddiane pen names, which I am so happy that couple is finally getting its due. Its just I like to stand out a bit, so I thought something a bit more quirky would fit better.
Cheers- Sam/Diane, Robin/Rebecca
The Office- Kelly/Ryan
GWTW- Scarlett/ Ashley
OLTL- Todd/ Blair
Breaking Bad- Hank and Marie
Walking Dead- Carol/Daryl Maggie/Glenn and hopefully Rick/Michonne
“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.”
I am so excited to announce...my stories may be a bit slower than before (but that's not why I'm excited...)...I just found out I'm pregnant! So many kind people here, it would take forever to pm those who have supported me throughout my journey here. But Jessie, Andrea, Leigh Ann and Kristen in particular have been so supportive with my news. Jessie is just awesome, both as an author and a friend.
I can't wait to get a "lil asskicker" onsie for the baby! Thoughts are appreciated during this very anxious time.
I like to write. A lot. Sometimes my stories can go unfinished for awhile, that is why I usually like to write one shots. But once in awhile I'll finish a chaptered story, and it gives me an immense sense of satisfaction to do so, isn't that why we all write? I want to thank everyone who has supported me throughout my journey. Some people I would like to thank are- Jessie, Sanda, Laurie, Emily, Andrea, Kristen, Markaleen, Jessica Simpson-Bourget,I'malatebloomer, I'm sure I'm forgetting a few but really anyone who has taken the time to read, review, favorite or otherwise support then I owe a lot to you.
I tend to read magazines, I don't have the time for novels; besides, I prefer fanfiction. Some truly great undiscovered talent lies in this fandom.
I won't read any other shipping for WD but Daryl/Carol. I enjoy the other pairings and will read and support those who write about them, but I will NEVER write or read about them with other people than each other. If you don't like Caryl then you may not want to read my wd fics, because they will be in all of them somehow.
My favorite show of all time is Breaking Bad. Normally I wouldn't watch a show about drugs, but it is truly more than that. It is about survival at all costs, relationships, the price you pay for your actions. To me, the greatest tv character of all time will always be JR Ewing. He paved the way for characters such as Walter White.
I really appreciate how supportive my readers have been, more than you know. I apologize if my updates are slow in coming. First of all, I've had some health problems that prevent me from writing as often as I'd like to. Secondly, I would really like very much to improve my writing. I need to, at least for the time being, slow down, write the best material I can, and not to rush simply for the thrill of publishing. I am proud of my work (at least most of it lol) but I know I can always improve. I want to be a better writer, so that means learning from other authors, researching, and just being careful when I write. Everyone's support and patience is really appreciated, and hopefully I will be able to improve with each piece of writing that I submit.
While I am proud of the work I've done- almost all of my writing comes from the heart- I realize that I do need to work on my craft. I need to take some time to learn from some of the best writers here-Jessica B and Rush L those include you!...I really need to slow down. I have so many stories I leave unfinished. I rush to publish and do a lot of mental revision later, when it needs to be opposite. I can't thank everyone who's supported me over the years. I promise to focus more on quality and less on quantity.
I have to thank the Cheers fanbase for the wonderful, unexpected reception I received after a brief hiatus. It was really nice and rewarding to be welcomed back, and I hope to continue to support each of your writing, for I know better than most how small the fanbase can seem at time. If reviews are slow in coming, please be patient. I plan to get caught up on everyone's writing. I just like taking my time and enjoying stories rather than just rushing through and giving a generic "great job!".
Thanks again for everyone who has supported my writing.
If someone has autism, this can mean:
Their brain works differently than others'. They don't understand facial expressions and emotions, and have a hard time showing their own emotions. Other people’s emotions confuse and upset them.
They have some trouble understanding language and instruction...sometimes we have to talk to them like they are younger than they are. They often seem not to be listening to us when we talk to them.
Everything stresses them out (trying to look at people’s eyes, changes in routine and schedule, doing unfamiliar activities) and so they try to stop the stress by trying to be in control of EVERYTHING and EVERYONE around them. Sometimes they might seem rude or bad, but they are really just struggling to understand things around them.
Even their own family can have trouble helping them sometimes, but you can help by:
