May 31, 2015: SRP here with an important message that I NEED to get across. I CANNOT stress this enough: IF YOU DO NOT ENJOY READING ABOUT INCEST PAIRINGS, THEN DON'T FUCKING READ MINE! I'm sick and tired of getting 'guest' reviews on my ONE incest story that I have posted. I clearly state in the damn summary that it is an INCEST pairing and, if you do click inside the story, I clearly state right after the disclaimer that if you do NOT like incest, then turn back and read something else of mine. Don't be a fucking scaredy cat and leave a 'guest' review insulting my work. I do not care that this is just Fanfiction; I happen to be proud of my writing. It's one of the few hobbies I enjoy doing. And the fact you can't face me in a Private Message irritates the hell out of me. I don't apprieciate my work being bashed because you were the dumbass you didn't heed both of my warnings. So, once again, if you DO NOT like incest pairings then don't bother commenting at all. Just turn around and don't bother opening your mouth. Try to be in that person's shoes: if you were bashed on something you loved, how the hell would you feel if you were treated the same way you were treating others? Keep that in mind the next time you want to question others.
Now, in the meantime, for those who actually DO enjoy my work, incest or not, I still plan on posting new stories to my page. Just give me some time. Life keeps throwing obstacles at me that I need to overcome and sometimes the stress keeps me from writing. But I DO plan on sitting down and start nailing some stories out! Keep your eyes peeled, fans!
May 13, 2015: Hello everyone! ScarletRoseProdigy here. I know I've been away from Fanfiction for quite some time and I do apologize for that. Life has definitely kept me busy. And because of that, I get into phases where I feel like writing, and then I don't. When I do feel like it, writer's block hits me like a ton of bricks. And that's frustrating by itself because there's so many great ideas floating through my head and when it's time to put pen to paper, nothing flows out. Plus, with life and work and everything else getting in the way, there's not much time to write, and for a writer, that's very frustrating as well. But I hope to break that endless cycle of not writing. There's a ton of new ideas in my mind. I will be working on the pairings I have listed down below and maybe some other pairings that don't revolve around my OC. Also, I just posted an Author's Note attached to my Kakashi/Sakura story, Just Tonight. For fans of that story, go to that note ("chapter 2") and check out the update. Also, keep your eyes on my profile cause I always post updates with the actual date so everything's new. Look forward to new stories being posted and maybe old ones being revised.
I want to talk a little bit about the main character you're going to be seeing throughout my stories: Haruno Lynn. She is my O.C. created for Naruto as the elder sister of the one and only Haruno Sakura. Her full biography is too long to be included on this page so if you are curious about her and are interested, let me know.
As for the actual character, and though I'm a fan of other characters, I mainly include her in many of the stories that I write. I would also greatly appreciate it if no one stole her or my idea. Lynn is MY OC and MINE only! So, if you want to stay on my nice side, I suggest you leave Haruno Lynn and everything about her to me, thank you very much.
About Lynn Urameshi: She's a part of my Yu Yu Hakusho stories. Now, I was into that show before Naruto came into my life so I created that OC first. However, I AM still working on her bio. I don't quite have her figured completely out yet. I'm still working out the details about how I exactly want her to be. When I created Haruno Lynn, she was a bit easier because her past came pretty simple to me. As for Lynn Urameshi, however, she's being a bit difficult.
I know that, in my story Sickness, I mention that she's two parts demon. Let me explain.
So, when I first came up with her, I knew I wanted her paired up with Kurama so I wanted them to have some sort of connection. So I decided to make her a fox demon like Yoko with the same back story as Kurama: escaped from Demon World, hid in a human, grew up in the human world, etc. But as I got more into the series, I realized that if she was going to be Yusuke's twin sister, then they needed to be connected as well. So, that's when I made her two parts demon: fox and also Raizen's daughter, like Yusuke. At first I thought it made sense. But I recently got back into the series and now I know that both of those don't make sense at all. So I'm thinking about just making her Raizen's daughter, which would explain that demonic part, and not fox demon. But her and Kurama are still my YYH couple. Also, I'm thinking about changing how much older she is then Yusuke. Instead of three minutes, I'm thinking five, which, to me, is a better even number. I'm NOT going back and rewriting Sickness because I think it's good as is and shows that I'm still playing around with Lynn until I get her just right.
So when I post mini fics with her and Kurama, please bear with me. I'm trying to figure her out myself so that'll take a bit while I'm working on everything else that catches my attention.
As for the name Lynn. I'm sure most of you are wondering why I keep using that name instead of coming up with something completely different. The answer is simple: I'm fond of the name. It's actually my real middle name so I enjoy using it instead of coming up with something new and something I probably wouldn't remember. The only two OC's I have are Lynn Haruno and Lynn Urameshi so I see nothing wrong with using the same name for two different story lines.
So if you don't like that, then its simple: don't read. I spend a lot of time working with my character so it's not my problem if you don't like her.
Now a little bit about me. Music is a bit part of my life. A good portion of my inspiration comes from the music I listen to. If something comes to my mind, or even a phrase, I take it and try to re-work it with my own imagination. I plan on giving credit to the song and artist at the beginning of my fanfiction, along with the usual annoying disclaimer about how I don't own anything (unfortunately) but my character (who fully belongs to me!).
As for the stories I'm working on, I take my time. If I feel like I'm rushed, I don't work on anything. Writing is my main hobby and its for fun so please don't rush me to tell me to update because then I won't. I'm old school when it comes to writing: I hand-write everything out. Different writers have different styles of writing and that happens to be my way. So my stories take a little longer for that reason. Also, there are many stories in my head that I'm slowly beginning to write out.
Pairings: Since I've created Lynn, I've come up with several different pairings for the one character that I love creating and writing about. I AM still working on a good majority of them and some of them just require one-shot stories but they are a work in progess. Those pairings are:
Story Updates: There are a few I plan on making a second version too. Right now, those stories would be Reflection (KaibaLynn) and Just Tonight (KakashiSakura). I will be posting a authoress note on each before I post the second version. So keep your eye out for those.
P.O.V.'S: So, I've noticed something in my writing. I seem to make the mistake of merging several POV's into one section. One minute it will be about one character and then the next thing I know I'm writing about the those of another character in the same moment. I didn't realize I had such a bad habit of doing that. Problem is, even though I mix two different POV's, it doesn't take away from the scene or the story. It still makes sense even though I'm throwing another character's thought into the same scene. While it does make it a bit confusing sometimes, I can't delete or edit it no matter how hard I try because it still matches the scene perfectly. So I seem to have a different writing style that, maybe it'll clear up down the line, is unique to me.
Anonymous/Reviews - I've been noticing a few people point out the fact I have my anonymous review disabled. There is a reason for that. I understand that many people don't have a FFN account and just browse through the stories for fun. But there are some I know that actually don't mind making a account so they can review. I mainly have it disabled because I don't feel comfortable with knowing someone can get away with insulting either me or my hard work. Call me paranoid, I don't really care. But I would rather someone be up front with me if they have a problem with me, my stories or my character.
As for reviews in general, I've also noticed that a few people tell me about the grammar and spelling errors in my work. Now, I don't mind that considering that's what reviews are for, but please keep one thing in mind: I BETA my own work. I double, even triple check my work all in one sitting to where my eyes strain just by staring at the computer screen. So, yes, there probably will be a few errors every now and then. But if people can mainly focus on the story itself, that would be great.
