 Author has written 1 story for Harry Potter. So far I only have one published fic: Harry Potter and the Clean Slate. It's a slow-burn Honks story where I'm trying to make Harry as chaotic, violent and unpredictable as possible, so there will be lots of fight scenes. It's a time travel fic to the start of Order of the Phoenix and is currently a work in progress. Trying my best not to make him OP and I'm staying away from bashing. From the reviews, I'm doing an ok job so far. I have two other WIP's. The first is another fic set in OotP, but this one isn't time-travel. It's inspired by fics like 'The Merging' by Shaydrall (Here) and the backstory of 'Circular Reasoning' by Swimdraconian (Here). The idea is that Harry absorbs the Horcrux in the summer before fifth year, which changes his personality and way of looking at things drastically. Fifth-year summer is a tumultuous time for Harry, and one I don't think people take advantage of enough. He's highly emotional and for the first time has seen the true horrors of war with Voldemort, possibly giving him a bit of a kick up the ass and motivation to do better once he gets past the grief and survivor's guilt. Add absorbing the memories of Voldemort (which would contain the knowledge of Horcruxes, Snape's betrayal, and the knowledge of a prophecy) I think it has the potential to be good. The second is a little more uncertain. The inspiration is mainly from 'you belong to me (i belong to you)' by Child_OTKW (Here), in that it's time travel to Hogwarts, but to Marauders era instead of Tom Riddle era. Right now I can't decide what state I want Harry to be in, but at the moment he's world-weary and separated from his friends, his only contact being Andromeda. He doesn't care about anyone and shows violent and impulsive tendencies as a result of the war. The idea is to put him in the body of someone who has a sister so he begins to recover through that, while at the same time fighting Voldemort all over again. The idea of this fic started with me coming up with the name Caspian Altair, and from there I couldn't let it go. And there's a ASOIAFxBlood Song crossover where Vaelin Al Sorna arrives in Westeros before the events of Robert's Rebellion, but I don't know if that will ever get finished. I'm having fun with it, though. |
