Author has written 20 stories for Harry Potter, Twilight, and Sherlock.
You can call me Pix
I'm a born and raised Coastal Southern girl. I've been around the world but I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. We breathe water and dodge hurricanes but damn it's fun.
I like to travel. I've been all over the place. England owns my heart, Italy owns my stomach, Germany owns my lead foot, zoom zoom, zoom. I HATE heights, I spent most of the time in the floor of the car going over the Alps scared to death. In NY it took thirty minutes to get me off the center wall of the Empire State Building to look over the edge, and we aren't going to discuss the ride up the elevator, it was too embarrassing. Funny thing about me and travel - I HATE to fly. I have to drug myself for short trips or I'm the nut clawing at the door screaming "Let me outttttttt!" For oversea fights - its what ever knock out pill I can get my hands on. Mom packed my sleeping pills on our last 'girls' trip in the stored luggage and I spent 9 hours in panic mode over the Atlantic... I looked like a psycho getting off that plane in Atlanta, all twitchy and googly eyed.
Hobbies: Four wheeling, gardening, reading, and writing children's stories.
DISLIKES: Cyber Bullies and Trolls - If you can't say something nice keep your mouth shut. Unless you yourself put pen to paper and stress over chapters late into the night you don't understand what goes into writing this stuff. But as a fellow author replied to one of her cyber bullies "pull your bottom lip over your head and swallow" I prefer the old saying - go play in traffic. Personally I saw a fellow do that once and it was horrific - they were picking up pieces of him for a while. The grease spots on the highway lasted FOREVER yuck!!! So in my opinion - the only good bully is a bully in pieces "Go play in the road!" Sorry so harsh - It's a southern thing. God bless ya LOL (It's true, we really do use that term down here like a slap to the face)
Another dislike a good story with horrible spelling! Get a Beta folks. I just read the most original fic that had the worst spelling and word misuse that I have ever had the misfortune of reading. It had so much potential but I had the worst time reading it. It ruined it for me. So again, get a BETA!!! BTW - I probably needed a beta for my profile. Sorry.
Politics and Politically Correctness. I call a spade a spade, if you don't like it don't hang with me. I put my foot in my mouth hourly but my friends are used to it. I don't talk politics in my fics and I dislike it when others do it. Both sides irk me. Honestly, I think they all need four years in office and then we hang them. I'm a Libertarian - the other two teams are just power hungry idiots lining their pockets.
Likes: Oh boy...
Books: Laurell K Hamilton (Anita & Merry) Sherrilyn Kenyon (Ash melts butter) Thomas Harris (book two is the best, love the way it ends) Agent Pendergast books by Douglas Preston/Lincoln Child (but where the hell are they going with the series now??) Dean Koontz (Christopher Snow & Odd Thomas) Linda Howard (Read - Kiss me while I sleep) Christopher Moore he is irreverent as hell and I love to quote him. Dune & Battlefield Earth are some of the best SF ever made. Fever series by Karen Marie Moaning
Movies: action, scifi, foreign films, every so often a chick flick...
TV: Dr Who, The Blacklist, The Following, The Strain, Tyrant, and Hannibal - Yummy good fun. I find reality TV a bit of a farce. If it has a laugh track forget it - well when I'm desperate and bored I have been known to cheat on that rule with Big Bang.
Fanfiction Twilight, 50 Shades, Fever series, Hannibal, Labyrinth, and Sherlock (It's my new addiction!!!)
Music: Every thing but rap - If you speak violence against women you instantly go on my crap list and in the garbage. Sundays are for jazz, quiet times call for classical. When driving I have to be careful what I listen to because I have a bit of a lead foot.
In time of war, send me all the Alabamians you can get, but in
WWII American General Edward H. Plummer
It's just that in the Deep South, women learn at a young age that when the world is falling apart around you, it's time to take down the drapes and make a new dress."
"Truth is beautiful, without doubt; but so are lies."
Oh, I would while away the hours,
“This is a bawdy tale. Herein you will find gratuitous shagging, murder, spanking, maiming, treason, and heretofore unexplored heights of vulgarity and profanity, as well as non-traditional gramar, split infinitives, and the odd wank.”
