I say 'our' because there are two writers. We share what little responsibility we actually have!

Hey everyone! So after the last update in the profile, we spent some chatting, and we will be spending some times over the next month or so doing a bit of a refresh on Way of the Wind, and putting it on A03. Never fear, right now we plan to leave the version found here on FFN exactly as it is. But for anyone interested, there is some new content sprinkled throughout the story, though not much! We wanted to leave our story as true to the original as possible! We have not been unaware of some of the criticisms of this story over the years, and while some of those flaws were written intentionally, we made the decision to go back and clarify intentions, to hopefully give the reader better insight into the emotional development of the relationship portrayed between Itachi and Sakura. And you know, the oh my god how did we miss this many grammatical mistakes the first time? We love how our story turned out, but ten years is a long time, and we thought, why not?

If you are interested, you can find us under just_enough on A03. We will be posting the updates in five chapter segments, to give ourselves time to really dig back into the story. And, fingers crossed, maybe we will find the inspiration for those follow ups we wanted to do all those years ago.

We hope that everyone is safe and well as we move into 2021. Thank you so much to everyone who left such kind comments on this story in the Year of Covid 2020. We are both seriously touched that people are still reading this story so many years later and amazed. Take care of yourselves.

So we've some questions/requests/demands to know when we will either be posting the one-shots we hinted at or posting a new story. The answer to that is that we don't know. Neither of us have the free time we used to have, and the time zones between us have increased since we are now living on opposite coasts of the US. Both of us are working on new jobs/careers.

We love writing. We love our head cannon. The time and effort that went into WOTW was extensive, and we have to assume any writing projects that we would work on the future would deserve the same amount of time and effort. We are so, so thankful that you the readers responded to our story the way you have, and we will always be grateful for the wonderful feedback we received for this story.

Thank you so much for your support, and hopefully someday, we will have the time and the energy to continue playing in the world we created, or we'll have a new story to tell.
