NEWS 2023

I'm back and come with (maybe, who knows if anyone even reads this) dubious news. To make it short: I've decided to no longer post new stories here. Maybe I'll also stop posting new chapters for my WIPs, I haven't decided yet. What I have decided is that I'll move all of the stuff I'm not feeling ambivalent about over to AO3. It's mainly because I'm lazy and don't want the hassle of flitting between several sites. Seriously, I'm getting too old for this crap. So, if you want to read my new stuff, come look for me there! On AO3 I'm just "Morraine".

A word of warning: Due to increased story theft and illegal publication by scumbags, I've locked my profile down. You'll only be able to read my stuff if you become a registered user on AO3.

NEWS 2021

Some of you may have noticed that I've deleted some works recently. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. I've taken the stories down because they no longer represent me as an author. I might give some of them a much-needed overhaul, but probably not. There's far too much new stuff to write to bother with the old things. ;)

ETA: I'm moving due to my job, which is an intensely unpleasant and stressful time for me. My creativity has shriveled up and died for the time being but of course I hope to get back in the saddle once the worst of it is over. I can't make any promises as to the time or story I'll take up first when it happens, I'm sorry. Right now, all I care is about getting through this crap without permanently losing sanity points.

NEWS 2020

Before 2019 I haven't posted much on here, but apparently I'm back now and busy with two long stories. One is a Harry Potter AU named "Dobby's Deceit" and the other a Teen Wolf AU I started at the end of April named "Bite Me (Terms And Conditions Apply)" because it just wouldn't leave me alone. As of today (07/16/2020) it has passed the 110k mark and there's no sign of stopping yet. For the peeps reading Dobby's Deceit, I'm sorry. Sometimes an idea just hits me so hard that I need to get it out before it drives me batty. I never intended for Bite Me to become so long and involved, but it has become so long and involved and I'll do my best to see it through. Dobby's Deceit is definitely not abandoned, I just need to recharge for a while before returning.

MORE NEWS 2015

I posted the first chapter of a new story (Three Misfits in New York) before dealing with Love Me Green or HPFM or any of my other unfinished stories. I'd say I'm sorry, but I started this piece as a writing exercise when I was battling writers' block and fatigue with my novel and finished it before posting. This means it is complete already and updates will be very regular. It's a Teen Wolf/Avengers post season 2 AU that'll be eventually Sterek, but it's a slow burn, just as I like it. If you're a Teen Wolf fan, I hope you'll give the story a chance and tell me what you think. I mean, it's about teens and werewolves and superheros. What's not to like? I had a ton of fun writing sassy!Tony and exploring Stiles' abilities, among them the ability to be at the wrong place at absolutely the wrong time ... which turns out to be the right place at the right time more often than not. :)

Anyway, since Three Misfits in New York is already finished, I think I'll tackle Love Me Green next, so please sit tight, new chapters are coming!

NEWS 2015

As I'm still receiving wonderful reviews and messages regarding my fanfictions, I think it's finally time to give you a small update. Right now I'm about to start on the third part of a (super long) paranormal YA trilogy. I've thought about taking a break from commercial writing once the whole thing is finished in maybe a year or so. If I do, I might well get back to my WIPs here and tie up as many as I can. Many of you still hope for HPFM and Love Me Green and I promise that if I really do get back to fanfiction writing, they will be on the top of my list. In the meantime I can't thank you enough for remaining steadfast in your support. You're the best.
