![]() Author has written 25 stories for Veronica Mars, La Femme Nikita, Gilmore Girls, Roswell, Glee, Twilight, Thor, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Avengers. June 24th 2017: I'm slowly getting more and more fed up with getting like 2 reviews per every 2500th hit to a chapter. That's not on and I'm losing my interest in posting on ff. net because of it. I spend a lot of time writing and trying not to make each chapter a complete mess as I've seen several other writers doing in the not so distant past. I get PM's with people ordering me to update and lately the only (rare) reviews I seem to get to my unfinished works are :UPDATE PLS! and that's it...I'm done... I'm probably gonna stop posting here and switch to Ao3 where, even though slash stories are the majority, people seem to comment a little more frequently or give kudos. I need confirmation that what I'm doing is worth my time and that someone likes it. I'm too old and busy to spend so much time on it for free otherwise. The End... Maipigen here stepping on my soapbox. I'm a now no longer twenty something avid fan of fanfiction and the communities it's spawned on sites such as this. I dabble with writing, some good and some not so good, I can admit that. I read A LOT more than I write and with the way people have seemingly almost stopped reviewing over the near decade I've been on this site, I don't see that changing anytime soon. Those of us who write spend a lot of time and effort on it, the ideas and plots have to first dawn in our minds and then be put to life on screen and when we post ( I don't care that you say it's just for you yadayada - we're whores for feedback all of us) we wait with baited breath to see if people actually enjoy it. When no feedback comes, then the passion slowly drifts away and if you, like I have experienced, return to write only for someone writing a one word review with for instance, SUXS!! then it's not hard to choose the reader path instead of the writer one. So I beseech you, if you read something on this site, not just on my page, that you enjoy even a little then review and tell the writer. Even if you didn't enjoy it, you can comment with constructive critism and maybe teach the writer something. Fanfiction is a machine that needs oil to function and without the reviews writer's search for other places to post and abandon their half-finished stories of awesomeness never to return and that truly SUXS! :D August 15th 2015: I have a tumblr now : / I have absolutely no clue as to what to do with it, but come on by anyhow :) June 24th 2017: Update Status: DMLS: Ch. 67: Finished, will publish when I feel like it...(is up on AO3) Bella's Butler: Ch 15:2/6 pages written. -- Slowly trying to plot my way through the next chapers now at long last, BUT still slower updates. IASWGC: 2/? RLG Take 2: Ch. 17: Finished. Will post next ch when someone reviews for Pete's sake!!! I know my updating is not as fast as it used to be but as earlier stated, life is getting in the way and when I have the time, I'm more inclined to read stories from people whose ability to write exceeds my own. Thank you for your continued patience. Feel Free to PM, review or just simply read my stories while you wait. Ditte Mai .oO Oo. .oO Oo. .oO Oo.
