Author has written 2 stories for Star Wars.

My fan fiction is exclusive to the Star Wars mythos, though I am energized by any and every form of fantastical imagining (from calliopes to picture books).

I had my first child, Zoey, a few years before the first prequel was released — and I was a high school teacher at the time, and Columbine had just gone down, and the nation was slogging through the miasma of the Clinton impeachment.

The resurfacing of Star Wars energized my paternity and personhood, in myriad ways. Upon watching the video for "Duel of the Fates" in the classroom with a bunch of teens (a student had brought it in on VHS tape after snagging it off MTV the night before), I felt a feeling I'd not felt since . . . .

Anyway, if you dig this sort of thing (i.e., your high school reunion number has a "2" in it), check out my fiction and essay trilogy.

And catch me on the flipside.

Star Wars Trisagion: Philosophy, Politics, Person
This is a trilogy of ruminations on the pertinence of Star Wars to philosophy, politics, and fatherhood, respectively. I mean them both as a serial of my life in the mundane cinema of word, as well as an iteration of Lucasian fantasy itself.

Ur Droid: The Secret History of R2D2 reviews
As Lucas has noted frequently, the central Star Wars story is a tale conveyed by the droid who was there to see it all, R2D2. But just who is this omnipresent astromech? This story reveals all in an ancient tale of mystic hope and mythic transformation.
