3rd of January 2021,

Hello readers and writers. First of all, Happy New Year. Despite the year from hell that was 2020 and my dread for this year, I have actually hopeful news.

The first few days of this year I have been struck by inspiration -completely out of the blue- to write again and shockingly my inspiration is drawn to my in progress stories rather than the multitude of new ideas I've got floating around.

Already I've revamped my outline for the next chapter of Soul Wrenching that got completely stuck and I've rewritten the first two chapters of Aren't You Supposed To Be Dead.

Yes, you read that correctly. I am rewriting that HP story and possibly a few of my other oldies that I have yet to finish for several reason.

1. I am very out of touch with these stories due to my lack of progress of any kind on it.

2. They were written so long ago that rereading those chapters make me cringe. My writing has changed, hopefully for the better, over that time and it feels better to rewrite it from the beginning rather than try and continue from what I've got. The main stuff will be the same, just reworded and events slightly altered. I've also seriously lessened the many pov's I had going making it far to chaotic and difficult to connect to the story in my opinion because you are switching pov's too often.

Now not all my stories will be rewritten. Obviously the more recent one's won't and probably -at least for the time being- not dbz either. Even though they are just as cringe-worthy, I am so out of touch with that entire show -it's been years since I watched that XD- that it feels far too big a project to rewrite. So I'll try and plough on from where I stranded myself and write the remainder in my current way of writing. It will cause a bit of a disconnect going from my old cringe chapter to my current writing but unfortunately that will have to be the case for now.

Maybe one day I'll revamp all of them, but we'll see when we get there.

I don't know how long this inspiration will hold nor should you expect all my stories updated or finished within the first few months. I am taking this one story at a time, probably starting with my HP one and possibly Soul Wrenching.

If you are still following me or my stories, I thank you for your endless patience. I know I wouldn't have waited this long unless I cared immensely for a story.

Here's to a better and hopeful year, despite my skepticism on the matter. I wish you all the good luck, good health and inspiration.

p.s. While I'm still working on rewriting the old chapters of Aren't You Supposed to be Dead, I am trying to think of a suitable title for the rewrite. Naming it the same thing feels wrong somehow. If anyone has any ideas, please send me a pm. I will of course give credit where due.

Just want to clarify a few things. 1. Yes I still write, but it's not my main focus and it's going at a snail's pace and my mind switches its focus to different fandoms whenever it wants. 2. You are free to like or dislike my story, but if you do please keep it respectful. You may point out where you think my story doesn't work but please do so respectfully. I don't mind some criticizing if it is done with the intend to better my stories and my overall writing. Talking trash just to talk trash is rude and frankly pathetic. Please do not do this, not just with my stories but with anyone's stories.
3. I am not obligated to write or to finish my stories. I want to for sure but that does not mean anyone has the right to pressure me or demand or demean my stories as a waste of time.
I ask that you respect each other and treat everyone fairly, please.

As a general note: Most of my stories will be finished, but Missing Right In Front of You will probably get a rewrite, eventually. I am not pleased with the current story and the OC's made it that much harder to write it. However, every time I work out the new version, my mind makes up new and different scenarios of where the story can go and now I'm at a point where I'm not sure where to take the story beyond Harry being "missing" and stuck in his animagus form.

Dragonball Z is on a low flame right now, though the story I still have open of that fandom has an end thought out. I am sorry for everyone who still waits on all these stories. I can understand if you are not waiting anymore or any longer. I would too if waiting on an update for years. Please know that I appreciate the time you did take on my stories and hope you enjoyed them despite not seeing them finished, any time soon.
