Author has written 17 stories for Naruto, DC Superheroes, Harry Potter, Minecraft, and Pokémon.
Name: zapisthename (wonder why I kept that name)
Ethnicity: Dunno, what do you call Indians anyway? Brown?
Occupation: College, studying to be an electrical engineer. Yeah.
I now have a wordpress blog that I plan on updating as much as I can, I would request everyone who visits my profile to give it a read.
I'm a wannabe writer, and I thought Fanfiction was a cool place to start, as writing continuously only helps one improve.
I won't reveal any personal information on here, because I think I want you read my stories and like me for how I write, not for where I am or what I'm called or what I look like, but if you really wanna know, you can PM me.
I'm a movie buff, and watch all sorts of movies, though my favorites will have to be Stanley Kubrick (Full Metal Jacket and Clockwork Orange and The Shining FTW), Martin Scrosese (Goodfellas And Raging Bull FTW), if there's more I forget, but the one guy I hate with a passion is Michael Bay, and I know it might sound weird for a guy to hate Michael Bay, I do, I just do, he sucks and I think everyone and their mother can make better movies than him.
Special mention to David Lynch, he is the best at creeping you out with his surrealism, you should check out Mulholland Dr., and Eraserhead. Some of you might have heard of Twin Peaks, check that out too.
I guess my taste in music is kinda bipolar, I like rock and rap in general, though I hate pop (Talking to you Katy Parry, Ke$ha), and yeah, I hate Beiber, I am a disbelieber.
I do like Radiohead, because I love surrealism, and I love how they work it into their music (Kid A), and even some of their best hits are weird in a good way (Paranoid Android)
I also like Alter Bridge, Metallica, AC/DC, Megadeth and all that stuff.
Now moving on to what I like in a fanfiction, and what I don't like
A Harry Potter Rant Starts Here
So JK Rowling admitted to making a mistake with the pairings, well, that's her problem if she thinks that a Ron/Hermione relationship would never work, I think it would.
I still don't get the Ron hate though, people seem to bash him because he's average, well guess what, you're probably average too, as am I, or anyone else, I can understand that being in the shadows of 'The Chosen One' and The Smartest Witch in a fucking generation is not exactly something that gives you an ego boost, plus he's got more talented brothers at home, now that would fuck with anyone, not just Ron. I love him because he's normal, he makes mistakes, Hermione is fucking perfect (or that's what Ron bashers think she is anyway) and Harry is a fucking hero who almost never gets called out on his wrong doings, Ron gets to take punishment for his mistakes, he kissed Lavender, Hermione set birds on him (by the way, abusive behavior 101), he got angry at her cat for eating his beloved pet rat? That monster. The only time Ron has been a dick is in the first book, but an eleven year old kid is not exactly a master of tact, no matter how much you want him to be.
When Harry gets selected for the Triwizard Tournament, Ron is right to think he put his name in, why wouldn't anyone? He comes around when he realizes it's actually dangerous, but is jealousy something none of you have ever gone through? Obviously he's clueless with women in the books, he's a bloke, and blokes are clueless, how do you expect someone with no relationship experience to have a functional idea of how to be in a relationship, who could he learn from? Harry with his own dysfunctional relationships? His parents? Maybe..except they've been fucking married for twenty plus years and that's a whole different ballgame.
If you want to ship Harry/Hermione, do it, I'm over that hump, do whatever the fuck you want, you want to bash Ron, give us a legitimate reason to and not bullshit like Ron has a tiny penis that could never satisfy Hermione, because that is a lame ass reason to hate someone. I love how emotionally unstable teenagers argue that Ron is an emotionally unstable teenager, that's pathetic, I was unstable when I was a teenager, and probably, so were you. Shut the fuck up already.
A Harry Potter Rant Ends Here
So, fuck, I was bored, and I decided to do a quiz. And post it here, because, hey, I'm like that sometimes.
Which do you prefer? Reading fanfic , or writing them?I'm so dead on writing, it's tiresome, so I'll probably only read for the time being.
Do insulting reviews discourage you? If insulting reviews discourage you, in anything, be it movie making, or acting, or writing, then you should stop what you're doing and do something else. If a review has sensible criticism in it, I take it in my stride, if it's a flame, I ignore it. Simple. I do feel disappointed when there are no reviews though. If you read it, you have to at least be kind enough to tell us what it was like you know?
What do you mainly write and read about? Naruto, I find the scope to be high.
Are you proud of your fanfics? Sometimes, I feel like I rush my stories, but of late, I'm looking at my stories and starting to think, 'Hey, people are reading this, this is good, I have to go on' so yeah, slowly, I'm starting to believe that I can write good stuff more.
How long have you been on fanfiction.net? I have no idea actually, maybe 2009 or 2010, I don't really know.
Have you inspired any other writers? Never have, I'm not at a level where I can inspire a donkey, let alone a human being.
When you are added to a person's Favorite Author's list, how do you react? Frankly? Till this question popped up, I didn't even bother checking the number of people that added me to their favorites. I like to be judged on my work, and I care more about my stories being on a list rather than me myself.
Would you cry if you posted a one-shot, came back the next morning, and found a thousand reviews in your mailbox? The only one-shot I posted (Harry Goes On) has one, that's right, one review. But if there were 1000 reviews to a one shot I wrote, I'd be pretty fucking surprised.
Do you think it's possible for you to get a thousand reviews for a one-shot? No, no one shot deserves a 1000 reviews, a 100 maybe, not a 1000. It has to be a fucking classic if it does, and I don't write classics (yet)
Is it regular for you to get over 10 reviews for each chapter? Yes, I average around 15-20 per chapter (at least for The Second Sage).
What was your first story on this site? A songfic. I won't say more. Needless to say, it's gone now.
What is your latest fanfic posted? Naruto: The Second Sage.
If you compare the two, how far have you gone since you first started writing fanfics? Writing wise, much, much further. I would love to get the word length's up to 10,000(per chapter) someday though.
Are you a legend in your archive? No, I don't know how I can possibly become a legend in the Naruto Fanfiction Scene, you have some great people here. Maybe sometime in the future, I will be though. I look forward to that.
Naruto: The Second Sage
Its not like I've run out of ideas, I just write when I feel like it.
Writing it right now, the idea is still fresh in my mind, I can do a lot more with this story.
Do The Digging Yourself
Writing this, taking a break from it to plot future events.
Everything else is temporarily or permanently dead.
