![]() Author has written 2 stories for Harry Potter, and Pirates of the Caribbean. Greetings! Let me tell you a little about myself. My name is Jocelyn and I live in Canada - we don't ride polar bears to school or live in igloos, sorry to disappoint. I love writing fanfiction (doesn't everyone on this site?) and I love reading it even more. My favorite pairing is Dramione, but I read a lot of other pairings as well, and I'm definitely not exclusive to Harry Potter. I also love Pirates of the Caribbean and many other titles, but I almost always end up reading HP fiction. I love Battlestar Galactica, Doctor Who, and british murder mysteries. I'm awkwardly antisocial and probably spend too much of my life alone in my room. I am a neat freak and have an obsessive need to organize every single detail in a story before I even begin to write it. This is in part an explanation for my sad lack of frequent updating of my stories. I am also hilariously indecisive, and can't make decisions about the plots to my own stories. This combination results in my work being left hanging and I am sincerely sorry if this is annoying to my readers. I often get writer's block not in the traditional sense, but in the sense that the words I use sound small and unsophisticated. This results in updates being pushed to a later date when the writing situation has improved. I am trying to work though this (a statement mostly uttered during mental therapy appointments, but in this case about my writing style...), but school is crazy at the moment and free time is now a concept instead of a reality. If you don't believe me, you probably haven't heard of the IB program. If you know what this is, hopefully you will understand my plight. I have many interests, including travel, music, languages, and (this is unexpected...) writing. I've been to Europe three times, and I'd love to go again. I also hope to visit Africa and South America eventually. I speak fluent French, and have begun teaching myself German, Spanish, and Russian. I don't know how/if this will be useful to me in the future, but I love it, so why not? I have no idea what I'll do with my life after university, and this uncertainty is simultaneously liberating and frustrating. I study classical piano at a fairly high level, and will probably never stop playing. I used to play violin as well but time constraints prevented me from continuing my lessons. Anyway, I love writing and I'm always happy to know that people are reading my stories. Please feel free to message me at any time to chat or whatever, because internet friends are nifty. Thanks for your support! If anyone has a story originally written in French that they would like translated, I would be happy to do that for you. Feel free to message me about this. |
