Author has written 3 stories for Inheritance Cycle, Chronicles of Narnia, and Greek Mythology.

Hi there!

I thought it was time to update this puppy...I promise I'm getting back into this. It'll just take some time. People who have been with me since 2008, BEAR WITH ME!! :) I promise there'll be an update coming eventually... :)

About me...I live in the Southwest U.S., my favorite color is yellow, and I'm a writer (duh)/knitter/dancer in my spare time...which there doesn't seem to be much of!

Favorite books: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (and everything else Narnian), The Lord of the Rings, anything Pern by Anne ('cos some of Todd's stuff isn't that good...), Anne of Green Gables, Pride and Prejudice, Emma, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy...

Books I'm suggesting you skip: The Last Silk Dress by Ann Rinaldi, the Maximum Ride series (for those of you who now gasp and think I'm a horrible person, those are pretty poorly written books. You're smarter than them. Go find literature. Anything Greek has adventure. If you're looking for romance that doesn't seem to work out, P&P is good. Just go out there and prove to me how brilliant I know you are.)

I'm reading: whatever I can get in the library... :)

Quoteseses: "I should not talk about myself so much if there was anybody else I knew as well.' (Henry David Thoreau)

"If all the world's a stage and men and women merely players, THEN WHERE'S MY PROMPTER?!" (my slightly crazed older sister...)

"Life is pain, Highness. Anyone who says otherwise is selling something." (The Princess Bride movie)

"Yes you're very smart. Shut up." (also The Princess Bride movie)

"Your strength, his steel, and my brains against 60 men and you think a little head jiggle is supposed to make me happy?" (anyone noticing a pattern? The Princess Bride)

"Always know where your towel is." (Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy)

"Stupid lechuga!" (my English teacher--say it out loud, I promise it's really fun)

"One boy is one boy. Two boys are half a boy. Three boys are no boys." (my grandfather on boy behavior--test it out if you don't believe me)

"Forget your high society--I'm soaking it in kerosene" (Miranda Lambert "Kerosene")

"I understand about indecision/I don't care if I get behind/Peopel living in competition/All I want is to have my peace of mind." (Boston "Piece of Mind"

"Don't Fear the Reaper" (Blue Oyster Cult from the same)

"May the Force be with you." (anyone who does not know this quote should become an ostritch and hide their head in the sand. And then rent Star Wars--all six in one night until all you can say is "May the Force be with you.")

"Use force Luke." (the Bill Nye the Science Guy episode on force)

"One day penguins will rule the world--do you know penguinese?" (one of my friends from middle school)
